Sounds from the RZ-1 appear in a wide variety of Casio devices of the time, sometimes more, sometimes less data-reduced. For home keyboards they are relatively remarkable, except for pro gear. It's nice to hear those sounds in a certain context to not attract attention unfavourably.
So cool. I watched the movie for about 100 times now. The original choir sound is made with an Mellotron, which was overused in italian movie soundtracks. You cover is a joy!
nice! that thumbnail though... when i was 5 i took a pointy broken board to the eyeball & at the hospital they put something in my eye that made it glow in the dark to check for splinters (there were none- i even lived).
very beautiful cover of this anthology piece. I did a cover of it myself in the 90s but it didn't sound as good as yours. The choice of sounds is very judicious and works perfectly. I always wondered if there weren't guitar chords to support it all...

What a surprise, Espen! A great cover version, and this film was the first VHS video I ever saw as a kid! Total nostalgia!
Thanks!
Casio RZ-1 drum machine, another overlooked classic!
The original is an incredible theme to an incredible film. i was just thinking about the "eye" scene as I was listening and there ya go 😂
So good! Great work!!

Belissimo! Quasi buono come 'il fine settimana'.
