I've owned these for over a year now. While they are way better than the Bose Sleepbuds II were (owned them as well), you never seem to get anywhere near 8hours on sleep mode. Sleep mode is when it allows you to select preset soundscapes instead of streaming music, much like the old Bose did. Even if I turn the volume very low to where you can barely hear the soundscape, I generally only get about 6hrs sound, then they die out. I find that very distracting to my sleep because as soon as they go silent, that actually wakes me up. I have also used them with the Alarm you can set, but because they only last 6 hours, and I'm trying to sleep 8, they die out before that can work if I'm using both earbuds. My work-around to this has been to only wear one earbud starting off going to sleep, then I tend to wake up during the night after about 4hrs (old man issues) so I then take the 2nd earbud out of the case and put in my other ear and that one lasts the rest of my sleep, and then I can use the Alarm to wake up to. If you can work around all these issues, and for the price, they are better than nothing and right now there's really nothing that can do this much and be comfortable especially side sleeping.
