Hello, i downloaded VS Code but at 1:26 my terminal doesnt look like this. Its an explorer with different folders (Open Editors/No Folders opened/etc.), how do you set up that Github folder that you used to clone the repository?
For anyone with a dist folder problem: I kept getting stuck because all my files were in a dist folder and gitpages couldn't find index.html. I just took all the files out of dist into the root folder and reuploaded everything then it worked.

looks like github removed the 'choose theme' option, which makes the jekyll instructions obsolete.
:(
any work around for this?
any update? I'm just starting to learn web development thru html and that jekyll thing looks good.
Really nice video, I like your pace and how you teach. I usually reduce playback speed for most tutors
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you! great video. For some reason Choose a them is not showing up in my page
Thanks for watching! Not sure why you wouldn't have that option. Let me know if you're able to find out why.
yep, it doesn't show up by default. no clue why
Yeah - doesn't show up for me either and I suspect its because you're using Github Pro and the rest of us are using Github Free...
this vid is out of date now, unfortunately. the "choose a theme" was deprecated for "security reasons"
Great video thanks!
You're welcome!
Is this only for GitHub Pro users?
Just when it is private. Public works.
