Wonderful recap. The main take away is to not just be bystanders when one sees others being bullied. Another is to always fight to destroy pyramid schemes which exploit poor people.
My mom actually did the latter thing back in the 1980s. She helped to take down a multi-state telemarketing scammer and his companies and the guy that did the deed had such a long rap sheet that he died inside of a prison.
