Imagine a 4 year old son walking to the park hand in hand with his dad. They find a pond with ducks. They feed the ducks and the toddler is on cloud nine. They walk more and find some flowers and pick them for his mom. Some dandelions and the little guy blows a wish. They go back to the pond and the child tries to skip rocks like his dad. Everyone is full of joy. Who is happier? Who wins this pointless battle? They both do. You need a childhood to have adulthood. Who is happier? Subjective. Which is better? Subjective. One could argue the father already experienced this. And doubles the joy watching his son doing the same. But then his son will grow up and feel the same with his son. All in all. This subject is stupid, stick to foods you gd goons. Jesus
@@Duffaluffhe’s a really dominant factor to podcasts he’s a part of but I love how he gets people to riff with him. His episode of bad friends was just as much of a fever dream but I love it.
It's like watching two best friends who have both hung out with the cool new kid separately but are now hanging out together for the first time and they're fighting for his affection. Ugh, I love Rick. What a crossover.
Oh my gosh. I don't know who Rick is but his contribution here was great. I had to pause to write down something he said at 26:46: "Freedom and autonomy... that's a great gift, BUT if you're autonomous but you don't feel safe, what you choose to do with yourself is going to be surviving instead of living, so I would argue safety and comfort first." Dude, that is ME. I was raised to be autonomous but without a feeling of safety, and my solo life is just a constant nervous scramble for survival. I didn't (and still don't) have safety and comfort as a 'first' starting place. Now I'm wondering if the source of the wisdom to drop this quote, also knows where the wisdom be found to do something productive about this from the starting place of that sub-optimal position.
Adulthood simply due to having choice. I can appreciate those people who had healthy fun childhoods. For those who didn't, childhood was a prison. As an adult you have choices. You can pursue what makes you happy. You no longer feel trapped and powerless.
Glassman has popped up on YT shorts and I usually thumbs up them but never heard him in long form before. This guy is made for podcasts, probably the shows best guest, at least top 5. I'm now an official @rickglassman fan.
Do you know what? This episode made me realize I feel that feeling of childlike happiness when this podcast comes out 😂 Watching this by myself was the highlight of my week
He's actually trying to remove boundaries. The whole episode. They're mocking everybody who believes in religion notice the symbolism with all the colors red and yellow. Black and white. Every number they throw out there either ads up to six or seven or the total of 13. Hand signals that keep throwing up the ok sign with 3 fingers. Every one of them is pretty obvious at it. They keep referring to the moon god. And they keep referring to bad friends. Go to bad friends episode Moon King verse agent Orange. They're all pushing the same message.
This ep is absolute chaos and I’m here for it 🙌🏻 If ever there was an audio representation of the lunacy of my inner dialog in constant debate, this is it 😂
Rick keeps looking straight into the camera and it is making me realize that in podcasts I never see the eyes of anybody! I don’t know how I feel now 😦
As kids, my siblings and I would lay in bed giggling like maniacs. I thought I'd never experience it again until my kids and I lay in bed at night making up funny stuff and giggling until we passed out. The same exact experience. I'm sure most parents don't let themselves have that kind of experience
Not only do I love this show but now I’m commenting because I accidentally hit dis like and don’t want it to negatively impact this episode. Which is a great episode. Love me some ass man

Rick is the first mediator to actually mediate the battle lol. This ep was so good!
Honestly, he was very fair
Joe angrily saying he has wonderment is the most George Costanza thing he’s ever done.
I lost it here 😂😂😂
WONDERMENT JERRY! WONDERMENT!
🎯
Pimpy needs to see this comment
Jerry yelling: "You have wondermennnt!"
this is easily the most ADHD episode we’ve ever seen from you guys, a hard 10/10 launch into Monday
You'd love rick's podcast then
I felt like I was watching an episode of The Bear 😂
Id def wanna duff that guest out 👊
💯 This was THE closest to Hey Babe that taste buds ever got, only the pig was missing
@@Duffaluffhe’s a really dominant factor to podcasts he’s a part of but I love how he gets people to riff with him. His episode of bad friends was just as much of a fever dream but I love it.
I'm shocked no one said to Joe, while he was complaining about his childhood, "No one ever promised you a rose garden."
It's like watching two best friends who have both hung out with the cool new kid separately but are now hanging out together for the first time and they're fighting for his affection. Ugh, I love Rick. What a crossover.
Joe “When the kids in the movie”
Rick “Drop it like it’s hot”
😂
Rick Glassman is easily becoming one of my favorite comedians.
Joe DeRosa makes everybody’s arms exhausted
Being friends with Rick seems like funniest yet most exhausting experience ever 😂
It would be like being on the business end of a verbal/analytical firehose all the time 😅He will NOT let Joe get away with one iota of BS!
Like Mark Normand
i bet its the 2nd
Pimp really killed the funny.
@@nolanchoNah that was you
Joe talking about getting bullied made me cry 😭 I can fully understand why he went to the ditch alot 😂😭🥺
Rick telling Sal on TYSO that he loves him is the most wholesome thing I have ever seen on a podcast. Sal was truly appreciative.
Are you positive?
He's a good liar. That's evident.

@davidperez Thanks for the heads up, sistah

My all time favourite intro to Tastebuds 😂😂😂😂 I've never seen someone spend so long trying to explain a joke 😂
Dude. Rick is perfect for this pod. Him and joe are great together.
Rick Glassman is extremely underrated. Everything he touches is gold.
If by gold, you mean underage
Huh?
I’m a simple gal. I see Rick Glassman, I click. (and boy are my arms tired!)
The way Joe lit up with the hugs made me so emotional
realizing this wasn't a battle but the therapy session Joe didn't know he needed.
Trying to convince the dude who stared at a ditch for fun as a child that childhood is enjoyable is a battle already lost Sal
I love the dynamic of these 3 together!
Rick is perfect for taste buds because he loves to debate lol
11 minutes in and this ep is cracking me up. Bring assman back!!
“you are like a japanese knife” i don’t know whyyy but that made me laugh out loud at work lmaoo
Episode 20! of commenting until we get Shane and Matt Vs Sal and Joe.
Here for the long haul, Buds and Dawgs!
LETS GO! 🫶🏼🫶🏼
Childhood. 🤙🏼
This is a brilliant idea! The dawgs would destroy the buds though 😂😂

I would die if this happens I’d be so happy lol
OMG THIS IS ONE LEGENDARY IDEA! I am a simp who’s subscribes to their highest Patreon subscription. I LOVE the dawgz ❤
This needs to happen
The multiple Joe hugs in this episode is so good.
Joe: "when the kids in the movie"
Rick: "drop it like it's hot"
😂
I didn’t notice ricks shirt until about 25 minutes in, speaks to the overall chaos of this ep 😂 loved it

Thank you! Yes now I can control my life and keep myself safe as best I can.
Tyso is such a great podcast and I couldn't be happier to see Rick here! It's insane how quick the guy is
When Sal said “I don’t even believe in Helicopters”, I cracked up.
“It’s be nice if you didn’t have to see him do it” 😂 I love the chemistry between these three
That hug almost made me cry. I can’t wait for Ricky to come back
I love any time this guy guests on any pod
Omg, all the hugging had me dying with laughter!
the chaos Rick brings to this pod is intoxicating. I need it forever now.
All I have to say is - FINALLY!!! I've been waiting for these worlds to collide!
I feel the same for Bobby Lee and Legion of Skanks
Honestly a “I was kind of a melancholy kid” shirt would be dope

I am glad Rick is on the pod, great chemistry between all of you!
At 37:50 Joe was going to say "Rick is on both sides of the SPECTRUM" but he corrected himself and switched the word SPECTRUM. Lol. Chicken!!
Choked on my coffee when they started singing after the adopted comment, the hardest I've laughed in a while!!
Rick and Sal would have tge best podcast together
Sal’s ADHD went wild on this episode! Haha! 😂 This was one of the most chaotic hilarious episode! Rick Glassman knows how to create a fun time!
Rick advocating for headphones on every podcast he goes on
