I watched this video on VHS countless times growing up, often before big games to get pumped up. The highlights, music, broadcaster commentary, voice-over, and interviews with players were so awesome. Remember, back then, the internet was nothing like it is today. Before youtube, streaming, social media, smart phones etc. Access to hockey clips and production like this was limited. Very nostalgic to watch this again! Still remember every word!
1:10 David Rogers, Paul Shaw - Release 3:24 Andrew Blythe, Marten Joustra - Time and Motion 6:19 Anthony Sadler, Gaynor Sadler - Dramatic Overture, note: you will have to search ATMOS CD 004 on TH-cam and go to time interval 20:43 - 27:02 to listen to the full version of this. 10:37 Steve Everitt - Half Speed (note: only available on Universal Production Music website) 16:10 David Rogers, Paul Shaw - Wavelength 16:40 David Rogers, Paul Shaw - Active (note: only available on Universal Production Music website) 17:55 David Rogers, Paul Shaw - Crackdown 20:33 Steve Everitt - Into the Fire 25:11 Murray Munro - Light Challenge 28:40 Steve Everitt - Big Time (note: only available on Universal Production Music website) 30:10 Steve Everitt - Hit Me 30:52 David Hentschel - Nomadic 32:25 Murray Munro - Sahara 34:56 Murray Munro - Challenge 37:57 Murray Munro - Motor Sport 40:04 Dave Hewson - Neutral Ground 41:00 Murray Munro - Tall Ships 43:28 Steve Everitt - Anthem These were all from albums released by Atmosphere (a production music library). A good chunk of these are on Spotify and/or TH-cam, but not all. I'm on a quest to identify them all. I'll edit this comment or reply to it if I ever happen to find any missing ones. Or hopefully TH-cam eventually identifies them first.
Oh my god thank you so much for this. I've watched this VHS since I was a kid maybe hundreds of times and these songs are burned into my mind. This is exactly what I've needed for years!!
My Brothers & I (Shane R.I.P) would watch this EVERYDAY, Then go out and play Street Hockey like most people in Canada did. Like Don Cherry Said before GAME 7 "Well He's (#99) gotta come thru, The story is now Bobby Orr coms thru, Gordie Howe comes thru this is it Wayne's gotta come thru & do something tonight" HE DID a Hat Trick (3-1-4) in Game 7 to Lead KINGS to FINALS. McDAVID is down 3-2 vs Vancouver in 2024 Playoffs (2nd Round) CAN HE COME THRU? McDAVID is 27 & hasn't done much in Playoffs in his Career, If #99 can get that Sad Sack KINGS Team in 93 to Finals well let's see IF McDAVID can do the same for Oilers.
@@Slipknot5301 Thanx Slipknot, ya he lived Half a Life (37 Years Old) & he was “THE” Goalie in our City/Neighborhood. The last time I played Hockey was with Him & We Won (He Got A Shutout) & I’ll Never Play Again which is fine I’ll be 45 soon so, But this Video is Rad eh 1 of the Best the NHL ever had IMO, Cheers
