Taking My G35 To Get AdminTuned !

- Wsp guys today is finally the day the G gets tuned!! This all started due to me getting my first check engine light because of the catalytic converters. From there I got the cats replaced with test pipes then figured I might as well get a tune to complement the car. I got the car tuned by AdminTuning in NYC. This was also the first time I ever drove the G that far and the car preformed just fine.
Dyno results :
258 wheel horsepower

Z1 Plenum spacer
Maxspeedingrod test pipes
Invidia Gemini catback exhaust ( muffler delete )
Takeda Intake
19x11 +15 offset on all 4 wheels ( Square setup)

You wouldve made more power with the z1 throttle body, admins 3.5 intake or lmt 4 inch intake, ported plenum and lower intake plenum and some good headers like dc or tomei you get close to 300 with tomei poncams you fs reach at least 300hp

Nah bro no headers at the time I really just wanted that flame map so headers weren’t really on my radar and on top of that they’re expensive 😭

@@Christian-cb3le To get the best flames I would recommend a single exit exhaust and test pipes! Don’t get high flow cats cause it won’t shoot the flames at all !

damn my g is almost 140k and i push that shit they are good motors i recently raced my homies civic si & they still got it 🫡
Yessir bro I heard the original motors will last long if u just do the regular maintenance on it from time to time !
good final numbers for auto. How much tq did you end up with, and what was the base numbers?
Tbh I’m not sure how much power it made before he told me he forgot to run the before numbers but if I had to guess it was probably around 240 wheel and as far as the tq goes I’m not sure, on the graph he emailed me the tq numbers weren’t there 😭
@@NickIzzo he definitely did a pull or attempted a pull before he started tuning. Sometimes they gotta stop mid pull because of how the car runs. The power gained from start to finish is what makes the car feel better. Anyway enjoy the car. It probably runs way better with the tune.
@@siknin1 definitely runs a lot better bro but now that you mention he did say he didn’t wanna go too aggressive with the flame map because my car was already warm. Probably from the fact I drove from Philly to New York straight on to the dyno

i got a 04 g35 with a ISR Y pipe , stillen intake & tomei single exit what else whag i need to get tuned ?
I would say all you need now is test pipes and plenum spacer and you should be set if you wanted more horsepower I would also say new headers but it all depends on what you wanna get out of the tune !
@@NickIzzo just the pops & flame map really don’t think it’s worth trying to get horsepower out of a DE sadly

258 hp? Stock 03 G is already 280...?
Yea so from the research I did for the 07 G the auto comes with 275 stock but it isn’t 275 to the wheel and I think age and mileage might play a factor on my car too

@@rayflower1915 he is making 258 to the wheels. The factory 280hp rating is for crank horsepower not to the wheels.
