Where exactly under the RAM door is that center bolt that holds down the keyboard. ? The two outer bolts are shown on back plastic but that center bolt easy not easy to differentiate in that RAM/ Wifi compartment.
Friends, I have an HP Compag 6710b NotBook W7 and I can't get the digital reading device to work using the AuthenTec Inc. AES2501B Driver. It is installed but how can I activate it without any software to work like the camera on the NotBook? Please help
You also have to undo screws. Laptop in this vid has three screws. Didn't pay attention, snapped delete key half way. It doesn't sit flush, but I don't care. It still works.
Thanks, didn't notice the keyboard removal tabs until i saw this video.
Excellent demo - many thanks for your skill and presentation.
Большое спасибо автору. Без него не разобрал бы это старое чудовище. :)
10:13 , Can you tell me how thick the thermal pad?

On my 6715s, when I turn it on, the screen flashes for a split second and then goes off. The fan is running, nothing else can be seen. Any idea?

1:50 in my laptop the keyboard does not jump out itself after I shift the 4 lockers. I have no idea how to extract it out now.
Search a tutorial of your laptop in specific bro
You simple just need to unscrew a some few screws at the bottom side of your laptop before extracting the keyboard.

Well, if someone is still facing the same problem: I was, too. You have to unscrew the screws not necessarily remove them. Worked for me.
if you removed the screws but wont come out there could be some of the adhesive from the stickers sticking to the shell underneath
Thanks for the video, does the Northbridge needs that thermal pad? Or can be replaced by thermal paste? Regards
It should be with thermal pad.
