Thankyou for breaking this down, encountered it in a MCAT textbook for physics and you literally explained the "why" behind the steps that were deduced already. Appreciate it!
Damn I really wasn't sure as to why the does the charge move in direction of magnetic field if it's too fast and electric field if too slow,THIS WAS THE PERFECT EXPLAINATION 💣💣💣
Sir, if we are able to select the velocity of the particles, why would we filter out some of them? Why wouldn't all the particles have the same velocity?
When the particles enter the velocity selector they have different velocities, but when they come out of the velocity selector we only want the ones with one velocity, then we can separate them based on their mass. As in a mass spectrometer.
Hey Sir, I'm quite confused for AC Circuits. When solving AC Circuit problems, for example finding the voltage drop across an inductor, do we use the formula V = I*XL or V= I*ZL? Also, my school always includes the phase angle in the calculation of impedances. They will find the impedance in polar form and then use that result to find the unknowns in the circuit, but I saw your video whereby u only use the magnitude of the impedance. The Teachers in my school also said that reactance is the scalar version of impedance while impedance is the vector version of reactance. Are they correct? Please reply me Sir, I'm so confused :(

Thanks very much!
Great video thanks!
You're welcome! Glad you liked it.
Isn't Lorentz force the sum of force done by the electric field and the magnetic field, i.e. FL = FE+ FB?
Yes. FL = q(E + vB)
Sir what can we say Heisenberg principal since we know the velocity of the electrons separated
Man you are good.
Thanks, so nice of you!

Welcome 😊
superb explanation sir thank u
and which college r u from sir?
Thanks for the comment. I am not at a college, I teach at a high school in Berlin, Germany.
