I have this model in my home, is it wifi so I can connect to my phone? honeywell TH6320r1004 I purchased a nest but when pulling my current honeywell off the wall noticed it was not wired in.. Now doing research and reading my main thing is I want to be able to control the AC when not home on my phone. Does this honeywell TH6320r1004 have wifi?
I had "no signal" come up on my thermostat just randomly, changed batteries, turned the furnace on and off, checked the circuit breaker, have been spending hours trying to figure this out. I went back and did a reset on my thermostat, so now I'm trying to re set up the thermostat but when I try and connect it I get a E1 Error Code 38, I have a flashing green light on the receiver, and I'm 2+ feet away... Still the error keeps showing up. Can you help me???
You skipped a very important part... it appears that there are 2 sets of wires (identical to my furnace) one set of wires are the normal 5 wires, RED, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW AND WHITE. these are set accordingly with the thermostat to the furnace... but there is another wire with White and Red, the white is connected to the blue and the red is connected to the yellow just like on my furnace... you never showed what the furnace looks like, are there any wires left on the furnace? or do you double wire everything you have on the furnace and run it to the THM5320R1000????? your video completely skipped that part, it went from the furnace wiring to THM5320R1000 wiring but you never explained how the wires are supposed to be on both the furnace and the THM5320R1000. your missing a crucial step.
+christian Robinson Hi just wondering if you found an answer to the extra wire question you had. I and other TH-camrs would like to know the out come. Thank you for your time!
Well it look like the blue wire on mine isn't connected which my be why no power. But I just saw something spark in the furnace trying to get the door back on so I'll let an HVAC tech deal with it!
In my case i want to remove the old Thermostat and mount the Receiver in his place so i can take the Wireless thermostat with me to the living room. My case is: I moved the living room to the first floor and there is no thermostat in the first floor. Would that work ? Just removing the old thermostat and place the receiver with the same wires that where used by the thermostat ? I mean it's the same right ? Power wires and Signal wires are there anyway.
Thats what i want to do...i can't figure out why not. I have a client that has a wall of windows in her condo and they put the thermostat by the front door (the center of the building) so it hardly ever goes on...
Good job man so far this is the second time I've referred back to your video in 3 years. Thank you ❤️😊

The red and white wires go to the outside condenser unit
why do none of these videos cover how to install the return air sensor?
Because returns suck.... get it?

In that application , were you suppose to add a jumper between R & RC ??
What's the model number of this t stat
should work as long as you have both 24v hot and common wires going to it
Sorry excuse typo. R and RC
