I had to get a new glove a few months ago and couldn’t stand the fact that all the Rawlings gloves are R2g now. The leather feels like a step down and the best part about getting a new glove is making it your own… hard to do with a flimsy glove

At dicks sporting goods the tatis 11.75 mizuno pro select is 150 because they ended they’re contract with him. Regular is 300. You should buy and review it
Dont get an r2g. They make the gloves feel fake almost. And the infield versions. The palms are so thin and weak have fun catching 90mph plus liners with that. Youth its fine but not a real glove

I play pro ball (I’m a pitcher so I guess I don’t catch much of anything short of an occasional comebacker and throws from the catcher) but I play catch with guys who are 95+ and at least personally, I’ve had no issues. People keep saying it feels fake and gets floppy quick but I feel like that’s just people not knowing how to take care of a glove. I’ve had zero issue over the years. Plenty of pros use them, I’m pretty sure Lindor even games one from time to time.

Rawlings mentions this glove is the same as hoh only factory broken . How's r2g less durable.
Like he said they take a layer out of the glove to make it softer. Less leather = less durability.
