Dude, just came across your channel and started looking back to some of your older videos....Man, your body transformation is amazing!! Keep up the great work!!
I liked your video. A humble advice: If you show a table summarizing the pros and cons at the end of the video, this will be a good reminder and summary for the viewers.
A pretty interesting suggestion, actually. I wonder why most of the bigger channels I watch don't do something similar... Maybe in case viewers just skip to the end? Thanks, I'll look into it!
6 months into use, and the hinge you were talking about at 3:00 actually snapped. Really sucks too because this headset is perfect for me otherwise. IF YOU PLAN TO GET THIS HEADSET, GET A PROTECTION PLAN SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR ANOTHER ONE.
Thanks for you input, man! I would honestly be blown away if this happened to me and Razer didn't fulfill my warranty or send a replacement, especially after so many reports of this exact issue.
6 month review. The sound and mic quality are great on this headset. The range is decent. The build is clean and comfortable, but this is my second pair that has broken within 6 months. The build and design look amazing but the entire structural integrity relies on 2 weak plastic clips below the headrest, once they even slightly break the headphones are uncomfortable and a pain to use
Did you have any issues with a slight hissing sound when using the mic and not listening to any audio? I got my V2 Pro two days ago and it has that, not sure if thats normal😅
The only issue similar to that was when I had two wireless dongles connected to my front panel causing them to interfere. Other than that no weird static - could be a sidetone issue as suggested.
So is it just luck based if you get a pair that has good audio quality or not? Mine are crap. The audio sound so muffled I put them back in the box after 20 minutes. My v2 X sounds better and I have them for multiple years now. Its hard to believe newer gens are worse, so it must be just a gamble to get a good pair. Btw. The reason I comment under this video is because its the most recent I can find. Im wondering if the problem lies with just mine or if its the headset in general.
The quality is just cheeks by default, I have an older pair. I was honestly quite shocked at how much of a downgrade this headset was audio quality wise considering I paid like 100 bucks more than my last headset, which sounded so much better. The way I pretty much "fixed" the bad quality is by playing with the EQ (dont use the synapse one, I use equalizer apo with peace interface). Plugging in the 3.5 also makes the sound a little bit better, but you didn't buy a wireless headset to use it wired, so there's that. But hey, atleast the headset is comfortable for me.
Just fyi: On the blackshark V1, the headband wires are the same wires holding the cups on. The band wires extend through the bracket to the cups, and it's super durable. On the V2, this is not the case. The wires holding the cups are separate from the wires in the band, and the plastic bracket is the only thing holding them together. It absolutely *will* break.
Completely different price classes there... Both are good sets, but budget-wise the HS80 makes a lot more sense even if I personally prefer the V2 Pro.
I got this headset recently and i am really impressed on this headset. Audio quality is good and mic quality is insane, and im not saying this just cuz im saying it for the sake of it, for my experience i genuinely like this headset a lot
@ my question is if u gonna take this headset from one place to another, like traveling for example, is it recommended to take of the mic piece off everytime? And wouldnt that damage the mic piece or not at all
@@kurokaen1234 Hmm, interesting question. I'd personally remove the mic whenever I go out and wouldn't be worried about the port getting damaged from plugging and unplugging. However if I did take the headset out with the mic attached, I might be worried that accidentally bending the shaft part too far or too often might damage the wire inside or something - though I think that's pretty unlikely since it seems pretty sturdy. Either way I wouldn't be too worried about it.
I cannot decide which headphone is better Sony pulse Elite aur razor V2 Pro I want to use with my ps5 please can you suggest. And I see the hinge of the V2 Pro was broke in some videos . And love your videos bro
Thanks man! I can't really give a personal opinion on the Pulse Elite since I've never tried it, but based on the product specifications alone, the V2 Pro seems to have more to offer, especially in the mic and battery department (as well it should since it normally costs quite a bit more than the Pulse). I see reviewers claiming durability issues with both headsets which is a little concerning, but as long as you buy them with a warranty, I wouldn't be too worried. Hopefully someone else with more experience using Sony gear can jump in to help us out here!
On call with my friend and they can hear the audio.. seems to be an audio leak issue. Anyone knows the solution to this? It's so frustrating. It's on wired btw.
I doubt that's on the headset. Unless you're somehow pushing beyond "max" volume, and boosting mic sensitivity into infinity, it should be almost impossible for the mic to pick up the audio from the headset...
I am currently waiting on razor to send me a new pair because the hinges on my old pair broke literally overnight. The hinges are extremely weak they broke months ago but I thought it was my fault until I looked on Reddit and luckily I waited to contact support because I think back when my hinges broke razor was still refusing to give people new pairs because they probably thought it wasn’t a problem with the build quality
But luckily I got an RMA and my headphones made it back to razor yesterday just waiting on the tracking number for the pair they are sending back but for the people who got refused help I would’ve been PISSED
This sounds absolutely terrible on xbox. Tried different eqs, tried with dolby atmos and they still sound quite muffled. Not to mention the xbox app doesn't have close to the customisation the pc one does. Another annoying thing is whenever you boot them up, they'll be unmuted and you'll hear the mic monitoring white noise even if you had them muted.
It's weird my friends say the mic sounds about as good as the old blackshark I had, it also seems to still be REALLY silent ( windows at best picks up 11% volume with me talking really loud)
That's definitely not what I experienced... However, I did have mic and audio issues using my two front-panel USB ports, especially when I had both ports populated. When I moved the dongle to the rear ports everything worked perfectly. Maybe try one of those ports and see if it helps?
@ I tried the front, back and monitor ports. It didn't seem to change much, weirdly enough synapse also is a mess with it, many times it won't see the charge level, but restarting synapse seems to fix it
@@Murtaza.00 You can use it while plugged in, but it's only for charging - it won't work if you don't use the dongle or Bluetooth. The headset works without the mic attached, that's how I use it most of the time.

I have these but I’ve had to use a $30 Turtle Beach headset instead because I get random audio issues. It’s a horrible crackling sound at random times. It will work fine and then randomly start acting up. It’s horrible. I have tried using it on my PC and my 2 sons gaming consoles which are a PS5 and Xbox X. Still horrible. I’m lost on what to do to make them work.
That's definitely not normal... Usually I'd say the issue you're describing sounds like interference, either by the USB port used, or some sort of wireless congestion, but if it happens across multiple devices and ports then I think there's a bigger issue at play.
@ I found when I play solo I have no issues at all. It’s the moment I start playing with friends. I had to switch back to my beyerdynamic headset. Only reason I got the Razer Blacksharks was they were wireless.
