The scanner is what makes the broadcast of you ask me. Where are you going to hear that anywhere else? To be able to hear realtime what is happening with Fire and Police is worth its weight in gold.
If you don’t want to hear the scanner and get behind the scenes information on the fire fight, you can just turn on NBC, CNN, or FOX. Some people like to be better informed than the surface level that watching mainstream media provides, you’re not one of them.
@ he's the best. I rather watch him than any of the news. I just not used to the side noise. During this emergency, I know he does it for wars and stuff and you can hear the explosions and he's talking about it but having two people talk at the same time. But his rhythm got better talking in between the radio broadcast and I wait for the next broadcast.
Give the guy a break if you look back hes covered over 35 hours of this story. the bloke has a life outside of the news he cant be expected to be on the job constantly
