I have 4 cats, 2 of them are 12 an the others 6. 1 of them has long hair and it's always dirty and have mots of hair, cause we never bath them, and another one likes to go on our balcony plants and put his face on the dirt (he's all white) and the other one always catches all the dirt or dust there's on the floor. Sadly we could never make them take a bth but when i can i brush them a little. And i live in an apartament. They get dirty too.
Nice. Lowdope knows how to take care of his pets, obviously. For those who are saying it is unnecessary or cruel, you obviously don't know how indoor cats work. Because they're indoor, they aren't rolling in dirt and other things, and thus build up things like dander and molecules from their saliva, that are quite bad to them and to us. A bath now and then helps to cleanse that stuff, since they can't do it by rolling around outside. The tongue doesn't help if they can't remove the spit after
Of course a bath can be stressful to cats and I noticed that lowdope does give them more often than most people, but there are far worse things that could be done to cats. He clearly loves and cares for both Moire and Crie. I think an occasional bath won't hurt either in the long run. I am a cat owner and I give my long haired cat one bath a year, and while she doesn't enjoy it, it helps keep her coat manageable (I brush it every other day).
Lowdope is actually overrated as a cat owner. I've had many indoor cats. Just give him some vacines and he won't kill himself by licking his fur. Also, getting dirty doesn't really help a cat. You sir, are a rhetorical fool.
Crie's expression after seeing a wet and clean Moire bolting out of the bathroom was hilarious..."So THAT'S what it was?! Oh, crap I'm outta here!". Poor Crie was so concerned for Moire, too, and Moire was quite peeved at the end of bath-time! Oh, how I do love those kitties!
aren't you ignorant lol, just think of it this way, go stay in your house for 1 week without bathing and just using your tongue to clean yourself. have fun! See if you NEED a bath or not.
I've always wondered why lowdope bathes his cats...cat's don't need baths unless they get really dirty and can't do the cleaning themselves...Crie felt left out heh...
Yes, because taking care of your pets is CLEARLY abuse. What. Stop ranting of videos like these and tell it to people who ARE being actually hurtful to animals.
how is it cruel? animal cruelty would be physically beating or neglecting them. lowdope obviously loves his cats and he isn't bathing them for his entertainment. -__-
The point is that unless they have parasites like fleas, cats can clean themselves. I have had two cats, each lived to be 19 years old. I never bathed either of them.
My dog hates cats and even she was concerned! I think the 7 who clicked dislike were obviously cats. Seriously, people this isn't abuse! Get out of your basements!
Most upsetting one uve posted so far imo. Cats are the cleanest animals in the world!! That utterly distressing cat scream is upsetting and totally unecessary!
Unnecessary stress for your cats. Unless the cats are going outdoors were they might pick up parasites, it is unnecessary to wash cats. They clean themselves.
Yep. Cats keeping themselves perfectly clean is a myth. If you have a pair of cats that are very affectionate with each other, they can help groom each other, but even that is not entirely enough. From time to time, even indoor cats need a decent bath to keep their coats soft. They hate it and tend to make a lot of fussy noises when you do it. But so what? Little kids tend to do that too. Is that child abuse? Nah. It's just means they don't know any better.
Crie: "whats going on in there?!" Morie: " help!! HELP!!" Crie: " Are you okay?!" ( after the bath ) Morie: - runs out- " that was awful..." Low: " your turn buddy " Crie: o.o'
My cats have a bath every summer. It cleans their fur (exspecially being under a car and having oil drip on them). It cools them down for summer, it takes excess fur off them and the shampoo has a flea treatment. They've had a bath since kittens and are used to having a bath.
Yesterday night (?!) I was dreaming about traveling with a bus. My bedroom's window was open because it was hot at day. Outside cats were doing their usual mating cry and this blended with the dream, I woke up suddenly and thought we ran over a cat with a bus. That was really strange.
this isn abuse or crue, some cats really need bathed like eery week. and cats ovbiously DONOT LIKE WATER. I have many cats of my own one of them a breed thatneeds bathed twice a week, by now shes used to the water as long as its warm enough. but if your going on about how 'mean' this is, jsut shut up. its like giveing a baby a bath, they cant fully clena themselfs you know. so stop telling horror stories.
My parents and I bathe my indoor long-hair cat every month or so, and she never had any health problems because of that, I also had to clip her nails once in a while too. On both occasions she screams like fuck. But you might as well say it's child-abuse to bathe children, because little children hate baths too, and really young ones cry A LOT
HA! This happens when I have to wash my cats too, I get the little one first and she screams and cries while the older male keeps shouting back to her. And afterwards he consoles her. It's the only time he shows any affection to the runt that stole his place as the baby.
My cat is both indoor and outdoor, but I would bathe him even if he were indoor because oil, dandruff, and shredded hair build up in his coat and a bath will wash that a way. Especially because my mom is allergic to cat's dandruff it's more wise to bathe him frequently so she does not become irritated. I personally, think it's bad for a cat to never go without a bath just because he's indoor. Turkish van's love water, so it's not torture to bathe, it's better for their coat if you do though.
Hey, your bathroom door opens outward. Imagine what will happen if some heavy thing (such as bicycles) fell just behind the door and you stuck inside the bathroom without cell phone or any contact, and you live alone so no one's there to help you. You'd better fix that door, it's very dangerous.
xD your cats obviously have a good rapport with eachother. :) it's nice to see that, i always preferred having 2 cats at the same time. I had a grey tabby that you just couldn't bathe the old fashion way.... I had to resort to bathing him with a damp towel... for some reason that was more acceptable than water from a cup. xD Great videos. :)
These are not screams, just protest. Kids protest too, but you still bathe them! Where do you think all the yukky dust from the kitty litter goes when an indoor cat pottys? That's right, on their feet and legs and tummys and then all over your stuff! An occasional bath is not cruelty...just good hygiene.
Haha, when Moire got out it was like "Run for your life!!!!", and Crie was like "OMG, what has he done to you??" . I'm sure they love being clean afterwards, though ^_^
I have 2 cats and one of them is the filthiest, smelliest cat of all time! He only goes outside for an hour a day, at night, to do his business and when he comes back he's always covered in stick seeds, leaves, etc. He's so lazy, you rarely ever see him cleaning himself for more than 10 seconds. When I have to bathe him, he cries likes this too. My other cat quite likes it though, she needs it due to dander and she sheds a lot (I brush them too). Dunno where I was going with this, just sharing~
I've been watching these vids for a long time, it's very apparent that the owner cares for his cats very much and doesn't hurt them. However, the title of this video in english is aweful. It suggests that something untoward is happening to the cats. You might want to change the title to something less dramatic and suggestive....
@batman Actually if you see any of the other videos you'd see its actually cat heaven! They live in an apartment building so he may have to give them regular baths in case any neighbors or he himself, have allergies. Seriously it is okay for them to have a bath ever few months.
They don't "hate" water. The ancestors of the domestic cat were desert cats. Because water is rare in the desert, they fear it more than hate it and it isn't the water they fear, it's getting wet. However, not all cat breeds, nor individual cats, fear water. Some actually seek it out to swim in. Tigers, some prides of lions, jaguars, pumas, etc. actually seek out water to cool off in.
Don't worry, they are all fine. The owner updates his blog with cute photos almost everyday, though there's no new video. Follow the link shown in the description.
It's so cute how Crie acts all worried over Moire with all the crazy loud meowing and the pacing. Then he's all "oh. Shi- Gotta run! -5 minutes after capture- I hate you."
When Moire comes out of the bathroom Crie is like. "Are you alright? Wait..what the hell happened to you?" 5 mins later. "Note to self, run away next time"
It's adorable how Crie is responding to Moire's distressed cries!!!
5:10 cat logic.
"Quickly! Lets lick ourselves dry!"
猫の丸洗いは半年に1回で十分
everything is animal cruelty in their eyes -__- they get all butthurt over the internet and don't even do anything about animal cruelty irl
It's more like whining than screaming
poor moire

Such cute cats!
Why do cats hates water
When I click on the link, it says "web page not available". :(
and hr locked me in the bathroom!
That may be the effects of westernization. Once upon a time, all doors in Japan slid into recesses in the wall.

You and the others that say this is "sadistic" and "cruel" are not serious, right? You CAN´T be serious.
I think that deep down inside her, Crie really cares for Moire, but she doesn't want to show it!
sardistic japanese! no need to record that!
and no need to put up a bath on a HOUSECAT!
Crie was really upset by the "terrible thing" that was happening to Moire.
Awwwh kittehs crying :( But it all ends well :D xxx
Cats clean themselves, bathing them is cruel!
cats do note need to be washed like dogs do.
aw, the kitties forgive you
Mrawr meow mrawr mrawr mew mrawr maaarre
Crie is really worried about his friend.
Right? People here need to calm down.
poor cats. why do you wash them?

For all who hate against Crie say she's bad : see how she worries for Moire and how she communicates with her through the mews !
Well, surprisingly, cats can get just as dirty or flea infested as dogs and sometimes you have no choice but to bathe them
this isn abuse or crue, some cats really need bathed like eery week. and cats ovbiously DONOT LIKE WATER. This reminds me of the video where one cat tried to rescue another cat from being in the tub. I wonder if Crie would have tried to rescue Moire?
Haha, when Moire got out it was like "Run for your life!!!!", and Crie was like "OMG, what has he done to you??" . I'm sure they love being clean afterwards, though ^_^

Taking a bath: horror movie for cats. "Hey, what's going on in there, what are you doi.. *door opens* OH. SHI.."
how funny kitty waits outside the door for other kitty!
Most of his videos have exaggerated titles. It's just for silliness. Anyone who thinks he's doing more than just bathing must really have a dark mind.
After I bathed my cat, then she dried off, she'd strub all over me, all excited, "I fee prettyyyy, oh so prettyyyyy..."
It's so cute how Crie acts all worried over Moire with all the crazy loud meowing and the pacing. Then he's all "oh. Shi- Gotta run! -5 minutes after capture- I hate you."
Out of curiosity. why do cats just love for you to scratch their ears and chins.I'm almost 62 and I've never had a cat that didn't love it.
My cat complains during bathing but loves it. Makes her feel clean & she follows me around..nect time.
Lols, but cats actually lick themselves after getting upset or freaked out. So it is logic, somewhat.
When Moire comes out of the bathroom Crie is like. "Are you alright? Wait..what the hell happened to you?" 5 mins later. "Note to self, run away next time"
Another thing I notice is that the floor of the hallway is lower than the floors in the adjoining rooms, so you have to step up into the rooms.
クリエちゃん、なんだかんだでお姉ちゃんを心配してる!
モアレもケンカしながらも仲良くやってて、安心したよ
@MCKT2806 I have no idea :l oh well ^^'
oh gosh Crie has frightened eyes that I've never seen before haha how adorable are both cats.
