I kind of feel like its just a character being added in a ready made play. I think i would put the cup in the blood god, leaving Blade alone, the play seems to be preset so Blade would continue on even if he knows the script. Kind of a no brainer. Just if the MC is arrogant. 😮😂 if he can take Blade out why not any other marvel hero? There is a set expectation.😊
I hate stories like this. I understand getting more powerful, but to just gain someone's skills is just too much. Very little is earned and it cuts the story in all the wrong ways. I want a protagonist that mostly (with just about everything) earns their way up.
