Tippu sultan was shot dead by his enemy at srirangapat am . Then only Christians were released from prison though many lost life in jail. Till today nobody new except few clergy . Tippu s father Hyder Ali was an ordinary soldier with Aurangazeb . Ancestors faced cruelty by Tippu , demolished allmost all churches except one which was then protected by local Hindus .
