Please, I couldn't hear what you said... Wait 1 day, remove painters tape and apply "?????" to all joints.... I couldn't hear what you said.... Sounded like acetecylic acid to all joints?? What's that.... Please reply, or add into video description area... Thanks, I have to do this job
Nice video thank you for taking the time I have a question.. The master bathroom has a surround That is glued up.. Where the base of the surround meets the tub deck it has wiggle play so whenever you try to clean the wall it breaks the caulk seal. What do you think the last installer did wrong? I am going to tear out the guest bathroom tubs around and try to put one end like you did but I don't want that to happen again. From what I have read you're not supposed to let the green board or cement board sit on the tub deck.. Thanks for your time
Is it better to put adhesive on the surround and apply? Or put the adhesive on the wall and spread it with a trowel and then press the surround on the wall. (Installing a 3 piece)
@@densyodsenyo9360 what kind of adhesive did you use? Great work by the way. I tryed the liquid nail but it was not working. I like the way your tub came out..
I finished a tub surround and used FRP adhesive. FRP = Fiber Reinforced Plastic. Menards and Ace both have it. I needed about 1-1/2 can of the $20 cans to complete it. Spread it relatively thin and even with a v-notch trowel.
Measure then cut a few times and don’t step on the same nail twice. Always put safety first and only get hurt if you absolutely have to. I was told, “Watch your fingers!” But when I watch them, my hammer goes where I am watching. Think this is bad advice.
This is nice but I'm confused you applied tape but where did it go did u mud over it? I am reinstalling my old 4 peice tub surround. I'm getting my green board today
The painters tape is to hold it in place until drye about a day you then apply silicone to the seams I know you wrote this a year ago but the answers is for others as well
You did not specify what adhesive you use.The first time I installed one I used Liquid Nails.(Recommended by mfr.)Personally,I think it looked like shit because when I put the adhesive on (10yr ago)just like he did the liq. nails left a ridge that would NOT flatten out.Period! And every years the ridges were more noticeable.I'm hear trying to find the right adhesive.

Based on our experience, i personally prefer to put the adhesive on the surround. Thanks for watching.🙏

Can you tell me what kind of adhesive you used?
Remember!!!
Measure twice cut once...
Jerome Gozum thank you❤️
Thank you🙏
Wouldn’t spreading an adhesive with a notch trowel get better coverage?

You didn't put adhesive to the edge so how to you seal the sides of the tub surround to itself and the wall to make sure it is water leak tight?
last portion after he removed the tape it says to add sealant and the finished product you can see white silicone sealant has been added
Nice Video, Thank You
Great Job bud
Great video... doing this today. Thanks!
Thank you , nicely done .
Super galing ng skills niyo po😅. Magkano rate sa canada pag ganitong skilled worker?
Is that a piece of trim on the front of the surround (near the toilet). I cannot find this.

Can you install the 90 degree bends behind the side panels?? That would hide the seam.
its made to go on top of the panel..it has a recess lip to go over the underneath panel and you can just caulk or waterproof glue seam
magkano po pakabit Ng tub hehe

You can almost shower under that spout height.
