I used to own one, I thought it was gonna be enough for playing some games as well as work. (I had the MX250 one) I ended up taking it back cause it didnt really work for gaming as well as I hoped, I mean like even less demanding games. I think some people will think the MX250 will be enough but it really isnt, maybe just enough for CSGO. This might sound dumb to think but I suspect some people will think the same as me. With that in mind, dont get this for gaming, even light gaming. Otherwise this is a Great laptop for work, its beautiful and very presentable, a Great fit for the board room. With touch capability and small 13 inch form it is ideal for showing of drawings or whatever else benefits from touch and smaller builds. The screen is very colorful and bright, the high resolution (2160x1440) is also something that benefits you when looking at work dedicated tasks. The only thing that would make this even greater not only for work but mostly so would be having it bend back a 360 angle to a tablet like some of its competition, The lenovo yoga and hp envy. In any case, this is a Great laptop, but like said, ultrabooks should be used for portability and work and not gaming, unless you have cash to get a razer blade stealth with the GTX1650. I say this so you dont make the same mistake as me.

Hey man, I'm looking for an affordable laptop like this one but mainly for writing and also some designing and programming. I know games are a different deal but would you say this laptop could run those heavier programs?

    • @mathiashallstrom4982
      @mathiashallstrom4982 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@dyright-1414 The MX250 is said to be equivalent to the GT1030, maybe a little better. Some googling says it should be fine, but I would google/youtube further about the mx250 using the programs you are intending to use.

Really want to know how this compares to the blade stealth.
The pro X only used the lower TDP version of the mx150, so the blade has a significant performance advantage.
Apparently, this one uses the 25w chip, so it might be able to compete with the blade.
If so, it's a much more competitive device.
Obviously not a gaming powerhouse, but I want an ultraportable for work with all day battery life, that can play some new games on low settings in a pinch.

Tom, is the Huawei Share sticker necessary to work, or can the sticker be removed?

    Looking for my perfect laptop:
    - 17.3 inch matte screen IPS OLED (I'm not expert but I just want a screen that turns its lights off instead of faking it with black lights), resolution 1920x1080 or more on either axis, 120hz+ refresh rate, with as small bezels as possible (preferably bezeless)
    - 32GB+ (built-in or with available slots for) RAM (DDR4 3000MGz)
    - CPU: i9900k (or the best AMD alternative)
    - GPU: RTX 2080 (normal or Ti) (or the best AMD alternative)
    - place for two m.2 nvme ssd drives
    - *good backlit keyboard* (just white light will suffice), none of that macbook pro garbage with no key travel, no windows key, arrows must be of normal size (again: no macbook pro garbage), preferably without the stupid numpad (I have literally never used that part of any keyboard) - it just occupies space for no reason
    - normal (read: *small*) touchpad with 2 buttons
    - no eye tracking or other bullshit 'features'
    - at least 4 usb-c, at least 1 thunderbolt, 1 for mic (headphones can be through bluetooth)), latest/fastest bluetooth/wifi/ethernet support, 1 separate port for charging (depends on the charger)
    - battery doesn't really matter as it would serve mostly as a desktop workstation, I just want it to be portable
    - is supported on linux
    - it cannot look like alienware area 51m with that big pointy ass for fans
    - black/grey/white colors, aluminium
    - price doesn't matter

Scsie amb the i5 and i7 base version do not have a touchscreen and these models don’t have a dedicated graphics card as well. The touchscreen is available only on the top end i7 model.cheers
