OK to help with the writing of the actual music notes: The TAB is written in C and is played with a capo which transposes it to D. Therefore the written music notes should be written in C and the capo transposes it to D exactly like the TAB works. This is true of all transposing instruments. If you want the blues harp harmonical to play in A you must write his music in C and instruct him to use an A harp, then the instrument will transpose the music into A. DO NOT write him in the key of A. It simply will make it impossible for him to play. The music is written in C, and the instrument transposes it to the desired key by picking a different harp or placing the capo at a different fret.
Love the channel. Just want to add I purchased the tabs for Time After Time. I printed them off but only had 4 sheets of paper in the printer then canceled the print job. I tried to re-print the tabs a week later to have the full tab and was told I need to re-purchase the tabs. I think that’s crazy. I think I should be able to print it several times….I bought the tabs. Seems a little shady.
