The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), otherwise known as the Hare Krishna movement founded by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in New York City in 1966.
His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada was born in 1896 in Calcutta, India. He first met his spiritual master, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami, in Calcutta in 1922. At their first meeting, in 1922, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura requested Srila Prabhupada to broadcast Vedic knowledge through the English language.

I dont want liberation, i dont want to serve krishna but i want to serve Prabhupad. Not only in this life but in all upcoming lives of mine, may be liberated or not liberated, I want to serve the spiritual master. Without a spiritual master, no matter how much we have spiritual credits on our account before taking this birth, it is completely waste if we dont surrender ourselves to Guru.

It's very rare to find pure devotee like Srila prabhupad, what to speak of one life ,we can give unlimited like to serve Srila prabhupad. We are fortunate to have him as guru.. Yes, although fear is not the highest motivation, Krishna accepts all love. One of the four kinds of persons given in the Bhagavad Gita who turn to Krishna is someone who is suffering.
Hare Krishna Enkena prakarena Connecting to Krishna is important from fear if you have started with fear as you say then you say you started loving him then now you should not fear anything but surrender fully to Krishna and be assured and learn to Love him without fear

I have connected to iskcon since 8 months still I hv no control towards lust even performing the principles by chanting few round daily reading literarature etc. Serving deities ? What is to be done and how to overcome?
this is not August 19, 1968. The 7th canto of Srimad Bhagavatam was not available then, what to speak of devotees able to chant the verse like that during class.
7th canto of prabhupada's commentary was not there that doesn't means that other authentic source of acharayas of our lineage was not there .
2nd may the the class recorded is recent ... doesn't matter
We have prabhupada's version of explanations isn't it enough?

The TH-cam video is labeled SB 7.9.12, Montreal, August 19, 1968. I'm pointing out that this lecture was not given at that date. After further research, I have found that this lecture was given in Sri dham Mayapur, West Bengal, India on February 19, 1976.
I should have been more specific in my original post. I can see how someone could be offended and defensive about my statement. I assumed those reading that post would not see it in a negative way.
