    Excellent research and video. I note that Polish sources now - correctly - note that that the Red Army "siezed" rather than "liberated " cities. While driving the Germans out was great, 45 years of new tyranny ensured.

    I've never seen this footage before Alan. Thanks for showing it. Was this not a result of Churchills informal agreement with Stalin called the Percentages Agreement? In which Churchill referred to as the "Naughty Document"?

      This was not Russia, this was the Soviet Union. Unfortunately it is always the same - when something in the USSR is good it is the Russians, when it is bad, it is always not the Russians.
