Such black and white thinking. It's obviously both dancing and exercising. If it was just a leg routine they wouldn't be playing the accordion and taking turns watching each other dance while clapping, laughing, and bouncing to the beat.
There was a gymnastic school near my home in Minsk. I went there more than 5 years. It was free for the children and their parents. For sure the government could pay the sport schools, because the workers received some penny from every pound. I worked not far from an athletic school in Munich, I ate sometimes at that school because it was cheaper. I don't know who pays the sport trainings, but there were more activities at the sport school in Minsk than in Munich. By the way, I don't like Olympic professional sport.
This is the most impressive choreographed dance I have ever seen. The strength, flexibility, mobility, dexterity, and endurance required of these men is mind boggling. Bravo! Bravo!!
EXACTLY, The fact that they kept showing even more impressive dances one by one shows how much they had to endure the many trial and errors into perfection, not to mention they had to sync with the orchestra background, I am absolutely astonished at their performance.
I saw this many years ago when I was a little kid. I stupidly thought that this was just something that all Russians did and if I went to Russia I expected just about any Russian man to be able to dance like that!
turns out Slavs have hip bones way different compared to other Euros, that are built for more optimal squatting and leg motion. You could say the Russians are literally built for this type of shit
i remember my grandpa used to tell me....."son, in the 60's and 70''s we didnt have the word stamina and difficulty in our books.... back then life was easy and enjoyable" i can definitely see why......
If your grandpa told you that, he was either a liar or grew up in a wealthy family. Same as with pretty much any time period, life was hard for poor people, and easy for the rich.
This is what you do and learn before TV, computers, and iPhones. I loved this kind of dancing 60 years ago and actually taught myself how to do some of the moves. We didn't have much TV or any entertainment. We had to entertain ourselves. So many of us kids became musicians too. A time now when kids can't even read, write or do math.
Lol, that is the funniest thing I have read today. With a pen stroke only the slavic russians exist, and the 190 ethnic groups and 25% of the population of Russia does not exist. I bet you would like that, but so far it is not reality.
Merely watching the guy bounce on the toes of one foot while holding his other leg has caused significant damaged to my Achilles tendon and hamstring 🤣

One of the greatest dances I've ever seen. The skill required for this epic dance is incredible. How a human body can do all that movement is just tough to believe. The Russian spirit and culture is great!🇷🇺👏💗
Saying male dancers are effeminate is such ignorance. These guys look delightfully masculine! Strong, agile, capable alone or as a group, alert, and perhaps even a little bit dangerous. It doesn't get better than that!
Oooooh😮❤ so begnadete Tänzer! So talentiert, kompetent! Woooow grösster Respekt zu diesen Menschen. Hut ab! Was für eine Leistung, und das noch mit Ästhetik und viel Lebensfreude! 🥳😍👍👍
Despite the US's relationship with Russia, the people are respectable. They're built different. If it weren't for them, and Germany's obsession with taking them on, the world would be a different place. Much love to the common Russian reading this. We don't hate you. Just your leadership. Even now in gymnastics the eastern european countries dominate, ukraine, russia and russian from kazachstan
