The setup at 10:16 is different from 11:52. The waste gate isn't connected anymore to that little tube in the turbo. Where'd you connect it? It should be connected there right? Do you have other video of this showing the final setup?
Yes, because I wanted to reach 1.8bar. With the wastegate connected, it wouldn't pass 1.2bar. But after the new head and head gasket, the boost goes back to 1bar. ;-)
Thanks very MUCH for that! I'm working hard. One video can take 12 hours or more for editing alone. I'm very happy to hear it's not in vain. ;-) We are planning on starting videos on the house stuff in the next few months. Thanks MUCH if you SUBSCRIBED and for continued participation with us! ;-)
@@offgridislandfamily Sometimes I think you should just upload the raw videos and its even better. I know you try to keep it short but dont be too bothered. Use that time for other videos or other stuff.
@@nanabrimpong3485 I LOVE this input. Exactly the kind of advice I need to hear. My videos seems to have a high 'skip-through' rate and I thought that it's because they are too detailed or long, but maybe it's because too much editing? Well, there is really no need for me...my stock turbo can't boost beyond my preferred limit of 1.7 bar anyway. VERY rarely goes over 1.5. HOWEVER, when I finally have the money for the KINUGAWA 15T turbo, THEN I will be able to use a blow-off valve and prefer that to a waste-gate system. @@sphinx501 Exactly...this valve on the back or top of the intake manifold will exhaust any pressure more than 0.9 bar. BE CAREFUL. I personally would not use more than 1.2 bar boost. I pushed mine to 2 bar and now replacing the head and head gasket. 😅😅😅
I think the boost Gauge would have been best mounted on the top left corner of the dash to make the driver keep the eyes up on the road, rather than having to look down to see it. You're probably right about that and it was my suggestion, near the left A-pillar, but as this truck is always sitting all day in the hot sun, he preferred having it out of the way so it doesn't cook in the heat.
