BASIC fade-in transitions | after effects tutorial

these type of transitions have been very popular for a while so here's how to make them.

software: adobe after effects cc 20 + handbrake
computer: 2020 macbook air 8GB ram

i didn’t film me adding my own shake presets or text effects because i would just be wasting time since i’m not even showing you the keyframes 😭
however my biggest tip for making these transitions work is to add rotation shakes (-4 to +3) and flashes (whether it is exposure or black fade outs)
