Loved seeing this building. Such rich history and thankful not torn down or completely remodeled. Felt like I was right there when it actually happened

I graduated from LSU on that stage. It's a great old building. The Hirsch Coliseum, where Elvis performed in the 70s, is not far away. He always had an affection for Shreveport.

Great video guys. Lovely buliding with such a rich history. You can hear the youth in Elvis' voice but can also hear the seeds of the performer he would become. 😊

Another brilliant and thoroughly entertaining video guys!. A lot of these venues are beautiful, I can only imagine the feeling you get walking around these fine buildings, especially with all the Elvis history contained within those walls,
    Awesome!,
All the best from U.K. 🇬🇧

What a wonderful gift today we have of that early recording… We hear the polite manners and respect Elvis has for the host - We hear the youth in his voice - and we hear the early Styling's that would become uniquely his own - thank you gentlemen as always for another great video and insight 👌👏🙏❤

What an amazing video guys, and even more amazing that this building still stands to share it's magic and to reveal such an epic time in Elvis's rise to world fame. Just loved the tributes to both Elvis and James. I wonder what people thought when a 19 year old Elvis stood on that stage and delivered those songs, incredible!

WOW! How great is that? Beautifully restored building! So glad it was still there and not demolished like so many historical buildings now a days! Dedicated to “Elvis, The Greatest Entertainer of ALL time” and “The Great James Burton!” The recording of Elvis, Scotty and Bill was phenomenal! So glad it was preserved too! 😊. This is one of your best videos guys so far only second to The great Miss Estelle Brown! TCB ⚡️🕺🏻👑

I remember going to church on Sunday mornings and seeing the coroner loading bodies on the side of the building.
The morgue was in the building for years.

They also need a statue for DJ Fontana, to go along side Elvis and James.
