    Have you always wanted to take beautiful portrait photos with your iPhone? 🤩
    One way to capture incredible portrait photos is by using the sun flare as a creative effect.
    Shooting directly towards the sun is challenging and usually results in completely over exposed photos or a dark and indefinite shadow. However, if you know how to control the natural backlighting, you’ll be able to capture outstanding photos! ☀️
    Watch this video from our new Capture It All Course, as we reveal the best tips and techniques to shoot gorgeous backlit portrait photos using your iPhone!

    Can you go into more detail on the change between 6:53 to 6:55? Initially we see the poor subject isolation that is so common with the software version of depth of field (portrait mode) where the hat is blurry too. But in the final photo, the subject is perfectly cut out of the background and it is so much clearer than in the video. Was the final photo at 6:55 also taken on the iphone? What post processing did you do?

      The final photo was also taken with the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It was edited in the Lightroom app to bring out the beautiful soft glow and to add a vintage feel. The difference on the depth you mentioned is a great observation. Upon checking this, it appears that the edited photo is different from what was shown in the video when the shutter sound was made. You’ll notice that the subject is tilted up a little bit more on the edited version than during the capture. We’re sorry if that caused confusion. :slightly_smiling_face:

      The ultrawide lens does that.

      We recommend Lightroom Mobile, but Snapseed is completely free and it also produces great results.

    how did you do burst shot 😮 ???

    • @iPhone_Photography_School
      @iPhone_Photography_School  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      On newer iPhone models you need to tap and slide the shutter to the left to activate Burst Mode. On older models, you just need to press and hold the shutter. Here's a link you can use for more info: support.apple.com/en-sg/guide/iphone/ipha42c55cd0/ios :)
