This does not mean that Barney would likely have 4 children (98% of 200 is 4), it means the probability to impregnate a woman (actually it's the probabilty that the condom breaks, but let's just say for the sake of the conversation every time it breaks you automatically impregnate) is 2 out of 100 every time Barney has sex, so it's very low. It's like multiple coin flips: if you flip a coin ten times and it's heads, the probability that the eleventh flip is tails is still 50%. It works regardless of the previous flips. It's a common mistake to think otherwise.
