- After Bradford's wife is shot in the head, Chen, Lopez, West, and Bradford go to an apartment building to find Vince. However, things go sideways when they end up at Vince's heavily, pregnant girlfriends' apartment having a shootout, while she gives birth to her baby!

Her testifying adds much more weight to the prosecution's case against him, on top of the evidence they already have. Takes it far beyond the requirement of "Beyond reasonable doubt".

Marc Boutin she’s wearing body armour, so my guess that guy is using buckshot as most pellets would just bounce off the armour plates, correct me if I’m wrong.
The Serbu Shotgun is not the best against body armor.
Shotguns do not have a very high penetration power compared to other types of weapons but can pretty much hit anything along that hallway if she was actually hit by a shotgun she would have freaking flown to the other end tho

This is was honestly one of the scariest episodes of the entire show. The situation was so impossible, no communication, no help, people getting seriously injured, dying. All of it.

It's still called the rookie.....currently season 2 is about six months after they joined the force and police officers can still be called rookies anywhere from 2 to 5 years
'The Senior'
Maybe they will bring in new rookies every year. Show will continue to revolve around the Main cast but will gain a larger cast of recurring officers. They never seem to interact much with the other cops on their shift. Adding new rookies every year would make for an interesting dynamic. If the show last enough seasons, the original 3 might even become Training Officers themselves.
