As a reminder, this is an unedited twitch VOD so there will be chat interaction and short breaks throughout. I did include a couple timestamps so you can skip past the chatting and character creation if that's not your thing :) If you'd like to watch live, we're several hours ahead over on twitch: twitch.tv/imcloudsi I also have a let's play channel for edited playthroughs of other games if that's more your speed: youtube.com/@cloudsi
magic was killing with two hits at the beginning because you started with a class whose attributes were advantageous to it, if you chose a class with a focus on strength you would also kill enemies with two sword attacks. the biggest advantage of playing a mage is the distance, not necessarily the spells, because depending on the build you can make great use of magic and melee attacks simultaneously
I've been cycling through various playthroughs on YT and after searching for so long, you're the first that is actually reading the guides of the games and playing as you should in the tutorial. I am looking forward to your entire journey. Btw, you did fantastic with your first try with the Tree Sentinel.

The story telling is similar in this game, but don't want to spoil anything else 😁
