Happy Sunday, Callum! Keep seeing a Rocketknight in your Megadrive collection so I pulled the trigger on Rocketknight Adventures Resparked from Limited Run Games. Had to be done. Still patiently waiting on Tiny Thor from Strictly Limited on foot of your recommendation. Cant get here soon enough. Also picked up the collectors edition of Toki for the switch. Very happy to add that to my collection cos Toki was the 1st video game I ever got It came with my Commodore 64 (showing my age there :P )

Yeah there are some idiots on eBay. I’ve not had to deal with too many thankfully, but at least you came out on top.
That being said I recently sold a vintage pair of 20 year old OG Nike 180’s on eBay and I said the listing to think twice about wearing them as the sole on them may crumble. He ignored me they and as predicted they crumbled. He opened up a case against me. Though to my surprise the folks that authenticate trainers ruled in my favour lol I was in total shock.
I bought GunBlade/LA Machine Guns a while back and I’m not surprised to hear it gone up a little. Sega make great light gun games and two games on one disc is a bargain.
I’m not a fan of the Wii I must say. I think I may have 15 games, too. Though what I do have most of them are bangers. I’m currently play No More Heroes on the Switch, which I know started out on the Wii. It’s a nutty game, but good fun I must say.
Anyways take it easy fella.
Such a shame when items arrive damaged. People seem to not realise it is their responsibility to pack it well. I've had a few bad experiences where I've had to return items but it really sucks when the deal is still good despite the damage so you are paying the same for an item that could have been in better condition.
You really have evolved into end game boss.

Mould is tough as it really gets into the cardboard. I would use vinegar to kill it and then because it's on the inside I would sand off the surface back. Sanding doesn't look great but better than horrible dark spots.
I feel the pain mate . My latest cex nightmare is so much worse though.. found the ultimate grail snes game in stock on cex friday (breath of fire2). Paid an waited for the delivery email... and waited..nervously over the weekend. until they cancelled earlier today.. lost for words. Ultimate grail fail .
Yeah I think it was the year before last I finished Pandora's Tower and loved it. Bought it on release and getting around to it is part of the challenge! I had the same big box version as you but sold it recently and then re-bought it as the standard version to save shelf space. It's nice that you know how far you are into the game when defeating each guardian and it's good you can break it down to do a stage in one or two sittings. My problem with RPGs is they seem to go on forever but it's good when you know what your goal is and what you have to do to finish it.
Luckily ordered pandoras tower the other day from CEX, praying for the big box with steelbook. Just ordered the last story limited edition (that one has a separate listing and was the last one in stock😅)

Great Video Callum, i can understand the ebay pain, i collected funko pops when they 1st came out and the amount of people/companies who would send them in a bag was one of the reasons I stopped collecting. I don't think companies especially at the time understood people wanted to display these items and not just rip open the box.
On a side note have you got any links for where you get your Game boy and Snes box protectors from by any chance.

I had a woman con me of 28, through PayPal. So ended up paying 62.50 for Zelda botw. SO… don’t buy anything from private sellers(only companies)
And recently got a replacement ps3 coz my og fat 1, graphics card, is nakard. So got a slim for 50 but the disc drive didn’t work and had to have a super slim. Only from that cash Converters! coz the other slim disc drive was nakard. LEAST I had a warranty and got more storage(120gb to 500gb). Just ugly tho😭but satisfied😀

I hate buying off ebay... I'd say its 50/50 weather you get a decent item or not.
I've bought and sold a lot on eBay and rarely had a problem. You have to look at the photos very carefully, check the description isn't just blurb and only buy from sellers with close to 100% positive feedback. If anything isn't displayed/mentioned, ask for more info/photos or just ignore and keep looking. Everything is on the side of the buyer so it's pretty safe.
That seller's logic is amazing. Nothing in the original item is included unless he says it is! OK then... Sometimes I wonder how people actually function in society.
I love this guy because he breaks the mould for stereotypical nerds, I'm a powerlifter by day and full on nerd by night.

This Essentials collection makes total sense to me. I pretty much completed my Sega Master System collection many years ago and now prices are insane on anything else I might want. My Dad started collecting Wii games a few years back - only from charity shops, gaming shops and cex in store. I’ve really enjoyed helping with that, it’s scratching my collecting itch and not costing a fortune for the most part 👍

If you do have a 360 sesh and haven't tried it yet, Geometry Wars is an absolutely top twin-stick shooter.

It was good to see, ghetto feels like one of the only collecting channels i follow that actually seems to play games even if he doesnt show you footage he usually lets you know what hes currently playing
I'm often surprised that some of the things I buy on Ebay get to me in once piece, I also received a game wrapped up in a Sainsburys carrier bag recently, still slightly better than the one that came in bit of cut up black bin sack, my favorite though was one just covered in a bit of xmas wrapping paper. big sigh.

The eBay seller was a total bellend 🤦♂️ I’d rather take a small hit on postage than have a dispute on the item. Couriers are unpredictable so have to think about that.
Fishing frenzy looks frustrating lol, wario is awesome recently moved a load of wii games on but that was one I kept. regarding the eBay idiot what a complete moron sending that in a bag glad you got your money back

Pandoras tower is ace. Check out the “trilogy” that it’s part of when you get chance ;) I played it for a bit but got lost and didn’t get the girl enough flesh and having to constant restart killed it for me but it’s a great game for sure. I just traded a load of fodder to CEX to get the new Prince of Persia game as I did really enjoy Immortals on the switch too (unfairly just labelled a BOTW clone. It is a bit but keep going it gets really good) it’s so important to play your games if you collect. Shelf porn is nice but nothing beats a new experience you weren’t expecting. Can’t believe that ebay business luckily as a buyer ebay always leans in your favour. Wicked vlog and looking forward to you sorting out that Nintendo cardboard!

Lol your eBay story very much mirrors a recent one I had where I bought a neo geo cd z only to find it dumped on my door step just wrapped in a bin liner, the system was a total write off, I've been with eBay since it started and i can tell you a few stories about being a buyer and seller lol the majority of the general public are alright but there is select few who are just plain morons.
Really enjoyed you playing those Wii games, all games I would probably just give a miss. Pandora's Tower looks really interesting. I own the Wario game, but I always thought it was a stupid party game, so I will need to try it.

I don't think that information about Fifa Essentials is correct, I have an English (and Polish) version of Fifa 13 in my collection, I even think it's from the same seller you got yours from xD

I bought XIII remastered on the Xbox series x last week sealed steel book special edition and when it turned up it looked like the postie had stood on it. Contacted the seller and he refunded me £1.95 😂😂 couldn't be bothered to push it further. I just wanted the game to play as it intrigued me and to be honest I didn't even realise it was a steel book anyway 😂. Was only 9 quid
Glad you got your money back, I'm seeing more and more badly described games I've fallen victim a few times myself and insufficient packaging just had a silent hill ps1 game in a jiffy bag how it didn't get smashed is a miracle.
I managed to pick up The Prince of Persia HD Trilogy for 40p, the local charity shop does games at 3 for £1.20
If you want a game that meets the 'cartoony arcade fishing game' criteria i'd recommend Sega Bass Fishing for the Wii, much better version of what you played here lmao. Dirt cheap too

Where you have a billy bookcase with the riser on top, and then have an empty gap at the top cause the riser like at 1:13:00, Why don’t you take the top off the billy bookcase cause the riser would still hold it together but could then re-adjust the shelves better and maybe be able to fit an extra shelf in?

Was in Smyth’s Toys earlier and you probably already know about them, but in the Lego isle they actually had Mini Figure Display cases. Sort of like a mini ikea glass display case for them 😅

I just picked up that Mad Max Ripper edition too.
Tetris evolution is a fantastic game. Was a though 1000g but I enjoyed the challenge. Really enjoyed mad max too but it's been soured to a lot of people since the full completion has been ruined by having an unnecessary online function that has been discontinued which stops a challenge being completed, but if your not a completionist it's not an issue.
Pandora's tower always looks great. I picked it up in a charity shop not that long ago but not given it a go. I don't have a Wii pro controller though so might have to grab one first before diving in.
Had way too many bin bags dramas over the years. The worst being the mega cd I got from cex. Luckily it's the only bin bag I've ever got from them haha.

The Wii games I come back to and enjoy are Kororinpa (marble game - a bit like a more relaxed Monkey Ball), Kirby's Epic Yarn, Rayman Origins, Tatsunoko vs Capcom and Another Code R at the moment. Samba De Amigo is also a bit of a guilty pleasure game - but a lot of fun for just one pound. I also play Back to the Future on the Wii- I know it is the worst port as the Wii is underpowered, but the game is still great, gives great feelings of nostalgia for the films and the Wii controller is very good for the point and click nature of the game. Tetris Party Deluxe on the Wii with the SNES classic controller is my favourite way to play Tetris - just feels right (and also has the original Gameboy tune as well)
if people complain buying rare games they complain they arent the first to buy it basically.
some of the endbosses in pandoras tower are hard, as vegetarian i love to force other vegatarians to eat meat to live:P
Great video Calum! Had me laughing with the fishing game 😂 guess you didn't do much fishing growing up? I think that's all supposed to connect as one piece like a rod at the top and the reel to reel in the lure at the bottom. In real fishing you strike when the fish bites so flick the rod towards your self some people also do this to the left or right then wind the reel towards your self to bring in the fish😂 hopefully this might clear up the mystery if anyone else hasn't told you yet 😂 but had me in creases watching you wave those 2 bits about entertainment at its best 😂 👍

I had a similar situation a while ago with a boxes action man! Granted it was damaged in the listing... But he basically sent it like that in a load of carrier bags and when I complained, like your exchange, he didn't understand at all the collectors mind set. Sorry that happened to you callum!

i remember years ago that someone shipped me a sage mega drive in its box just put a shipping label on it and thats it, it was only £25 but the box was......ok, that was fun

I've dealt with so many idiots on ebay, so with every game I purchase now, I send a message to the seller to please package safely in a box. Despite this, people still suck at packaging, but it helps!

Always in it to the finish, it’s such a shame that some sellers don’t see the importance of proper packaging, also the big GTA edition that what in the retro gaming shop was by far one of the best collectors editions they released I still have the Bag and the Save deposit box it came with 😂😂

I once got a sega game gear from ebay. The battery bit was rusty and it had cobwebs on it. It did not work of course. I just gave them a negative review which I never do. Move on. Most sellers on ebay are good but there are some dodgy ones.
