Ryan and Shane recently did a Collaboration with Buzzfeed (surprisingly enough lol) they did a top 10 Evidence episode on the Buzzfeed Unsolved channel
I could swear that my ex gaslit me but I never believed her. I might feel a sense of narcissistic pride in the fact, but I have to admit that once I figured out what was happening, I was a bit less susceptible. She was diagnosed (not sure if that's the proper word) as being a bit low on the IQ scale and that could have had something to do with it. She was never able to trick people for very long unless they simply weren't around her longer than a couple minutes and weren't trained professionally in the field of psychology. I knew she wasn't a very good person but I did allow her that small amount to creep in. I stayed with her because she kept claiming she wanted to get better. I wasn't strong enough to break free for more than a few days. But when she put a no contact order on her father and then blamed me claiming I forced her to do it, when I was the one opposed to her doing so in the first place, I soon understood that she was always going to play this game with everyone. Now, it's been over five years since I last saw her. It didn't take long for me to realize what was going on but I'm still dealing with the baggage she left. I knew she was lying but I didn't have the fortitude to get away until she started lying to the police and court saying I made her put that no contact order on her dad.
