Welcome to my Cabo San Lucas travel guide! It’s one of my favorite places in the whole world and I’m excited to share all my best Mexico tips with you. Today, I’m sharing my top 10 things to know before you go to Mexico. Cabo San Lucas is a great place to start if it’s your first time traveling to Mexico. Most vendors, shops and restaurants accept the American dollar, so you don’t need to exchange for pesos. Also, many people speak English, and finally, Los Cabos is absolutely gorgeous. Sometimes people like to focus on the dangers of traveling to Mexico, but I’ve never had any issues and I find it’s a very safe and one of my favorite places! I appreciate the work u( and other travel guides) do,but I live in Vegas&from what I've heard there's way to mucho hustling going on down there,I think I'll give it a pass& head over to Europe! Take care!
Avoid the scammers at the airport before exiting at all cost.

I have a time share in Cabo San Lucas, I hate leaving the airport, I was accosted by times share salesman and harassed, I hate it, just want to leave the airport, and get on my bus and go, I may even book a personal taxis to meet me in the airport next time, just need to find someone

Scammers can be found everywhere around the world…. even in Europe and the most “fancy” cities. So keep the eyes open every time you travel.
what kind of scammers???? people trying to sell something? asking for money?? offering a drive to cabo, then robbing you??? More details would be nice...

I was in Mexico last month. Mexico is very very similar to India. Indians love spicy food..Mexicans love spicy food, Indians have a smile on faces even with all the adversities..Mexicans too, India is a bit dirty..Mexico too :) Felt like home there !! Can't wait to go backkkkkkk :))

we did the avocabo tour with jonathan first night and just like you said it wasAWESOME! great food and information on the real cabo side of main road. went back to the seafood resteraunt he took us to and it was great as he said and ran into him and he was so excited that we took his advice. He did help us get hooked up with our driver when my cell died too and said to use him if you need help or advice.

I go to Cabo a lot and this is literally spot on! Billygans on the beach is awesome and has great service. Become friends with the locals and they will be lifetime friends! Also loved what you said about after you get off the plane. Put your head down and go straight to your ride hahaha

My grandparents LOVED Mexico! They would go every single year with a big group of friends and their families. My mom eventually got sick of it and started staying home as a teenager while they went on vacation.😂 I still wanna go and see if I’ve got the love of Mexico they had.

another resort I suggest staying at is the Pueblo Bonito Sunset resort. It's a connected resort to the Rose one just in a different location. You can't go swimming in the ocean because of the dangerous waters but they have lots of pools, great food, sunsets, and transportation to go anywhere within the resort and to visit other nearby resorts

@@TheAbundantTraveler Hello. Like you suggested I am taking the food tour upon arrival. Then someone said, I could be late for the tour do to customs at the airport. I will be coming from the U.S.A. and arriving in Mexico at 1pm and then the drive from the airport to the resort and the tour is at 5:30pm do you think I will make it? How long does customs at the airport normally take?

I keep seeing comments on whether to do an all-inclusive or not. I usually show up somewhere and stay at a cheaper hotel (or several if I want to travel the region) where I can do more roaming around and actual traveling. But then the last day or two I relax at an all-inclusive. I call this the vacation portion of the trip LOL. This formula really works for me!
That’s a great idea, and a perfect way to plan a vacation.

From a frequent traveler to Mexico as well, all the tips are correct. However, our personal preference we do ALL INCLUSIVE, that's because we love, love adult beverages, the service in the dining areas, as well as by pool side, and for the price you can't beat that. For instance if you go to Vegas you'll pay an average of 300$ a night, that's just to stay there. That doesn't include a simple breakfast.

Would appreciate some actual suggestions of where to stay. Our party is two grandparents, momma and six-yr old. Clean, has a pool, air condition is necessary. Your tips are so helpful. We have never been to Mexico, but we do like Mexican food.
