    Great tips and ideas. Plenty of cold, muddy water in Oklahoma in the early spring.

    To reduce the chatterbait vibe, I take needle nosed pliers and bend the side edges of the blade backwards, to where it looks like a paper plane glider. The reduced blade surface area mod helps keep it from rising too, for a good low and slow presentation with lighter vibration I dig.
    I add rubber core or splitshot weights to the front of my small Pond Magic spinnerbaits to help keep them low too.

    looks like I'll be Painting up Some CHart/ Blue crankbaints real Soon .... I was throwing a bluegill 2.5 sqbl tuesday at New Melones in 20 mph winds .. was going to change to my only chartl/blue 1.5 sqbl but the winds got krazier and 2' whitecaps made my buttcheeks pucker and head to the ramp.....earlier .ended up resting the boat up against the bank casting out to 25' caught a 14 1/2'' trout & 13'' spot on a drop shot w/ 4'' pearl fluke & a 14'' spot on a june bug ned 🤷‍♂ trying to stand and running the bank was on high was a oh hack no........ 👍thanks for the DIRTY WATER HEADS UP 👍

    V-Flat Power Bomb spinnerbait probably my favorite when it gets muddy, those chidori blades are killer when slow rolling through cover. Hope you guys do a restock on them in the future 🙏

    Great video guys. I’m hoping to go out this weekend for walleye, it’s been about 2 months since I went out. Damiki Vault holo silver is my #1 bait for them. Can’t wait to find the smallmouth.

    Love the channel, love the content. Keep up the great work, guys. Unrelated, Valkein restock? Hi-Bursts? In desperate need of them for these big Colorado trout! Or do you have a (in stock) suitable alternative? Leaning more towards the 2.4 G size. Thanks, as always!

    My local pond is very shallow and the fish often stack up in less than 2 feet of water. When it gets muddy, what super shallow running bait would you recommend?

    What’s up, fellas!? Hope all is well. I got a question about the 3” Hazedong and Zappu Bredy hook… what weight do you use for it? Is 1/32 and 1/8 good? Or just the 1/16?

    • @thehookuptackle_usa
      @thehookuptackle_usa  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Any of the weights are good depending on what you need for depth and speed. I like the size 2 hook best.

    Out in Cali was wondering what water temp is good to start fishing the red baits??

    • @thehookuptackle_usa
      @thehookuptackle_usa  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's really just whenever they start eating them. Usually January/February starts the red bite on the west coast.
