I always watch your videos in the background when I'm studying so it can remind me of my goal in moving to LA one day. I'm a junior in High school right now, I work at a boba shop just so I can have the money to option trade so I can help my family with the bills. California is a very expensive place to live in and especially in LA. I just want to wake up one day in my comfortable bed, and instantly get welcomed with a fantastic view of the beach in the malibu. So thank you so much for making these videos, its a good motivation.
Wow, thank you so much for sharing that with me! Your determination is truly inspiring. I'm so happy my videos can be part of your journey. Wishing you all the best!
To think that is all gone.............. All of the beauty. It will never look the same . I believe it will be rebuilt but not with the same beautiful unique areas.
Wow your so lucky to live there I am from the uk and when I go out side all I see is grey, wind , some more wind then rain more rain and it just keeps going like that great video I’ve subscribed 👍👍
Reminds me so much of my favorite place in Spain. Difference is this special costal area (Spain) is less luxury, simple, authentic and 1/20 to 1/30 or less of the prices in LA. Same white, Andalucian buildings, blue skies and topography. The hills surrounding the towns are filled with "finca's" (old farmhouses) instead of luxury villas, though there are a few. Good for me, I found this place, as I wouldn't, or couldn't financially, want to live among snobs and billionaires.
I just saw this over my feed as I was watching the deviation. I have never been there and the news is trying its best to explain how the terrain is and where they actually were as the fires are burning but it was hard bc they couldn’t see. It’s just terrible what they are going through. Seeing your video I can put in place where the damage is. I can see what it looked like before the fires set in. Are you from this area?
It never cease to amaze me the privacy hedges of California. I keep wondering why other states expensive homes don't have privacy hedges like California does.
❤ I wish I can live there. I might move there one day at least near by because I know it’s expensive. I’m want to meet new people and places like this . Very beautiful!!
I wish the street name and suburbs would stay on the screen instead of having to tap to check where you were. I'd love to visit the US one day and tour LA and the iconic suburbs.
Driving anywhere along the coast is so atmospheric 🤩 everything is just amazing with or without the sunset, for me that is. Thank you for this video, it is awesome.❤ One of my favorites is still the atmosphere of Long Beach. Others SD, SF of course.
The thing that I noticed most about videos like these is the absence of people walking, as a European it's just part of everyday life, just an observation that everyone drives everywhere.
Yep. In the USA, if you don't have a car (or a ride), it is very difficult to get around in most areas. The US is heavily car-centric in most parts and public transit is usually lacking. But you also have to keep in mind that the people that can afford to live in these areas are usually not interested in walking around in their neighborhood.
Every time I see you these wonderful neighborhoods far from the city, I always start wondering.....but when it comes to go to the supermarket how does it take??? 52:49
Great question! It can take a little longer to get to the supermarket from these more suburban areas. Maybe they use a delivery service for convenience? Thanks for watching!
There are lots of gourmet grocery stores inside, within theses neighborhoods. Bristol Farms, Whole Foods, Gelsons, Trader Joe’s, Erewhon, Sprouts, Lazy Acres, Mayfair etc plus full service grocery stores too.
Great video, coming from the city I don’t think I could live so removed that I’d have to drive 15-20 mins to reach a local store…scenery is nice it just feels too remote, there’s not even a person walking in some of those neighborhoods
Thanks for watching and for your comment! Hidden Hills is a gated community, so unfortunately, access is not allowed. If there are any other places you’d like to see, feel free to let me know!
Thank you for uploading this video! I live in the Netherlands and visiting this beautiful area through your video is wonderful. To me, it's a mesmerizing mixture of Morrocco, Spain, and the south of France. Could you please share what car "we" are driving? I feel like I'm looking at the road from a fairly high position, so I thought the car might be an SUV. And for future videos; could you provide a little map of the tour? That would be very helpful.
Great video and places. However background sound is not the real but steady white noise right? I really love to hear the actual sound of the road. That way, I can also listen to it at the background. In any case, love it. Thanks!
Thank you so much for your feedback! I really appreciate your thoughts and will definitely keep it in mind. I’ll try to bring back more natural sounds in future videos to keep the experience as enjoyable as possible.
2:16:00 look in the middle of the street. Someone laid their phone on the roof of the car and forget it. Ended up face up with the screen still on. Its after the Amazon van passes.
Hello y’all should purchase new home in Douglas, Ga the landscape is impressive to view the population is declining although it’s a great place to stay, and explore.
I have been living in Europe for more than 30 years now (Spain) and I believe that European wealth and areas where the wealthy live are far far different from American. New money folks love the flash with the cash and that is no different wherever you go. Americans need to show people though what they have and they must have far more than they need because that is what you do in the states to be considered successful. One thing I learned about the Eurorich is they have class and they do not need to prove their wealth to anyone. I have seen very well to do people riding in the subway here in Madrid whereas in the states a wealthy person would not be caught dead on public transportation.
@@SunsetDriveCalifornia please don't put background noise. The white noise is okay. Your videos are so relaxing and the white noise just makes them perfect.

I certainly can’t afford any of these homes. However, I must say that these homes are not as luxurious as I thought they would be? We have an area in PA specifically, Gladwyne, PA, that I believe has much nicer homes if you are just looking to throw around a few million dollars.😂
How are they allowed to build so close and the streets so narrow that a firetruck could not get through there. I believe there will be new laws and I think this has traumatized people so bad I bet a lot of them will buy 100 acres in Wyoming just to not have to go through this again hopefully. Sad. 😢😢😢😢😢
tourist or ordinary folks doesnt have access to the bigger estate with nicer roads, they all look the same outside like any other roads with people that are working money abroad or just chill in their olden days with 9-5 children
This video is going to be a memorable one. Never thought a month later this entire area would be destroyed. 😢
Those houses will never be built the way they were before the fire. The craftsmanship was unmatched when it comes to those historical iconic homes.
No doubt they will be replaced by modern cardboard boxes, that is if they are even rebuilt as homes. The old architecture was simply stunning
So sad how this entire area is burned to ashes now 😢
Oh my goodness...😮
Was kind of pretty…

Congratulations on your drive and ambition at such a young age. I am old and lazy at this point, LOL!
You poor bastard have apparently never seen marbella or estepona.
Who wants to live in perpetual traffic, homeless tents, insanity taxation Hell A?
Don’t come to LA
Watching this now when Pali is on fire, I pray God keeps us all safe ❤ and my sympathy is out there all struggling
Prayers to the family that lost everything,

rodeo drive with the palm trees is what always gets me 😭🌴its just so beautiful to see
And now it’s all gone 🙏🙏🙏
This kind of video makes my day, an incredible L.A. immersion. 🇺🇸❤️💙
Thanks for watching! I'm really glad you enjoyed the video and felt immersed in L.A.! Stay tuned for more drives!
At last I get to see what it looked like before!

Nothing wrong with seasons,it's boring to have summer days all the time
Stunning gorgeous video of Los Angeles, one of my favorite and beautiful cities in the world!
Your videos have sadly become a documented history of many areas destroyed by the fires. They serve as important archival footage.😢
I saw this video on New Year’s Eve and I was gonna plan to visit this place i live near la and omg god what happened 😢

Absolutely gorgeous 😊😊😊
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This is to ironic...so sad of all the devastation and everything shown here most likely has been burned to the ground.
NO ,, that's not true. It was a couple of neighborhoods. It's bad but not that bad
If you could use a small screen to real time show your driving route within the the big screen, the effect will be much better!
I wish the street name and suburbs would stay on the screen instead of having to tap to check where you were.
I'd love to visit the US one day and tour LA and the iconic suburbs.
Come visit LA in the Winter or Springtime for the best views and air quality. Postcard pretty!
Wao, es muy bonito los angeles esperé poder visitar esa bella ciudad
¡Gracias! Los Angeles es realmente increíble, espero que puedas visitarlo pronto y disfrutar de su belleza. ¡Saludos!

Beverly Hills hands down winner. Especially “The Flats” just a hop across Santa Monica BLVD. You’re in town.
Hey, this video is a month old drive drive through these neighborhoods today they don’t exist😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

Beautiful view
So it's an added white noise audio track, not the audio from the camera. Works for me 👍
Picturesque.

And yet some ppl still say money can't buy you happiness
This will have a million views. Sadly.
I know all of this places am from Venice beach area west LA.🌹

After the left on Sunset from PCH @7:52 Castellamare Drive is my uncle’s neighborhood. He’s literally steps away from Von’s.
Great vid ^^ Have you by any chance some vid of Hidden Hills? :> Is that considered L.A. at all?

As much as I love your videos, this constant white noise is awful. I miss the sounds of traffic, nature, etc. that make these videos so great. 😕

A Dream , hello from Germany
This neighbourhood looks like Camps Bay or Clifton in capetown South Africa
Looks nice but where are people? No one is walking around
They watch this video

Would be an income of 750k annually sufficient to have relaxed live in LA?
Been there; done that!
What about Hancock Park?
Wow, STOP signs are optional in Cali.....nice.

I just love California. ❤ the weather (always summer and sunshine) not like in Western Europe with cold winter...
Idols torn down, all vanity
Plz do redondo beach!!

So true….americans are so flashy, tacky and loud!
Very wise comment!
@@michellewall6748 Not a smart idea to generalize....
streets without sidewalks ??? houses packed ,you call this rich and beautiful
What is the house at @4:12? any rough idea of what the address could be? beautiful lookout point and architecture!
Just google "Villa de Leon" at Pacific Palisades and you will find it

Can you show us los feliz next and the rich neighborhoods there?
The average house price is probably 5 to 10 mil
Do you ever go to Oxnard?
Super ! ❤😊
Where's the sound? I just hear white noise. I still love the videos but the background noises make it feel more real.

Does wildfires ever happen in these areas?
Wtf...
Nahhhh
Sadly, your question has been answered
Happening as I type this
Looks like the question was asked the day before the fires started. Wow.
