Mini 2 best best perchase ever , I upgraded from the mini 1 well worth it , I was so fed up with loosing connection with the mini 1 👍

I still fly both my Mavic Mini and my Mini 2! I don't have any problems with the Mavic Mini's signal even though I live in (Europe) Bulgaria, Sofia so I have the CE version with the crappy signal.
I would initially lose signal at 300m max living in the center of Sofia (capital city). So I read up and researched how to boost the Mavic Mini's signal, and transmission power.
What I did was use the FCC Hack (now I've made it permanent) and my homemade parabolic reflectors. Now I get 1.5km over heavily wi-fi polluted Sofia city!
I usually fly from my balcony, I'm too lazy to go downstairs, lol...

I've got a mini 2 as my first drone and loving it, does everything that I need it to, and I can fly it just about wherever I like here in the UK👍
I recently purchased the mini 2 and I absolutely love it. It's such a good drone, especially for its size. However, I do occasionally wonder if I should have just gone for the air 2. I'm a photographer, so I use my drone mostly for its photo capabilities. I do shoot video, but not nearly as often. I ultimately went with the mini 2 for its price point, size, portability, and weight. At the time, I wasn't really considering any other drone. Price was a big factor, but I had also heard so many good things about the mini 2, I didn't think I would really need anything more right now. And honestly, thats still true; I don't really need to have more. At least not right now. But after buying all the accessories that I have and using the mini 2 for a while now, I do sometimes wonder if it would have been a better decision/value to just go with the air 2. I wouldn't have had to purchase ND filters, the camera is way more capable in low light due to the larger sensor, and I would have the peace of mind with having the 360˚ obstacle avoidance. Plus, I would be less likely to want to upgrade sooner. I'm happy with the mini 2, don't get me wrong. But I am already saving up for my next drone purchase. I don't want to jump the gun too soon. I want to see what comes to fruition with the rumors of this new air 2S. I'm just gonna wait and see. In the mean time, my mini 2 suits my current needs and I am definitely happy with it. Anyway, sorry for the rant. Happy flying!

I just bought the Mini 2 and it's awesome! I've only taken it out twice so far because it's been so cold but it's really fun! Trying to get used to the controller and creating good drone camera techniques.

Practice makes perfect, that's one of the cool things about the Mini 2 - it's so easy to fly. I should make a video on some simple camera moves for drone beginners.

I have the DJI Mavic Air, Mavic Air 2, C-Fly Faith 2 and the DJI Mini 2. By far, the Mini 2 has become my favorite drone. I still fly all of my drones but the Mini 2 for me is the best. It really is the future because it is so small and yet handles the wind, Keeps a rock solid signal, and literally disappears once it's a few meters off the ground. It is the quietest drone I've flown which really makes it the best. I never worry about "angry Karens". You know those people that don't think you should be able to fly a camera drone. The ones that think that every drone pilot is peeping tomb who's sole mission is to spy on them when they are skinny dipping in their back yard. It's been two years now and I have not come across even one skinny dipper. Mostly because that's not what I'm looking for. Long story short. I set up, look around for people, and when all is clear, I launch the mini. Because its so small and silent, no won knows It's up there. I'm usually sitting in a lawn chair somewhere keeping a low profile. The Mini 2 takes very good 4K video and that is great because I'm not a professional photographer and I just like seeing what the birds see. Are you someone who doesn't read maps very well; someone who gets lost easy? Than learn your area by air. You'll never get lost again, because now you have seen your town or community like never before. The Mini 2's magic is in its size and quietness. It's like you have an Eagle Eye but you're actually in a hummingbirds body. Amazing Drone. If the Government outlaws them one day, I will have to say goodbye to my registered drones but the Mini 2 does not have to be registered, so this is the one I will never turn in. They can't seize what they don't know about. Happy Flying.
