In a deluge it's possible for the water to pool between the ribs. Unfortunately you have blocked the free path for the water to drain. I had this happen, and had leaks when the water backed up over the flange. Consider freeing the path or making an apron front and rear.

Yea so ours will probably end up being $60k- 65k total including the purchase of the vehicle. They are pretty expensive at the moment and are selling quick so thought we’d give the building a go
Everyone focuses on just cutting the hole. That’s the easiest part. What about your wiring? What about the frame you made underneath? Tips on that stuff would be so helpful but very difficult to find on youtube
Hey mate thanks for the comment, I did touch on the frame in the vid, and the wiring is going to be done as part of the overall electrical set up. As our build has a few stages to get through before we get to that but i will try to show what it all looks like.

Well gone. Hope you have written down the height of the van where you can see it. Easy to forget with the added extra height for the fans.

Use soapy water spray on silicone and finger to make silicone smooth
Thanks man. I was using turps on finger to smooth out missy of it turned out reasonably smooth. It was mostly the burly tape that made it a bit uneven
