But we've seen all the gods so far and they didn't crave power, they simply had it and used it in defence of their nations. Venti interfered to save his people and Dvalin, Zhongli surrendered his power for his peoples good. And Raiden Ei used hers so history wouldn't repeat what happened in her past. And Nahidas past self made the Akasha intended to help its people. All used it in good intentions. But what's his reason? At this point his power is empty and believes gods crave and want power to control people through fear.

Because it's not an "earpiece" or a "headset", its simply a hologram which lets you control your terminal's commands with ease. The akasha terminal is small physical object which they keep on their person.
we should have been given the mobile akasha terminal you use in the fight as like a gadget thats by your side after the story was over cause its soooo cute! i can see nahida giving it to the traveler as a reminder of their experiences in sumeru
I am very late to the party. Makes me a bit sad that I only learned about this moment only now, but as the saying goes better late than never. The only thing i can say with this quest was and still is the best moment that Mihoyo has possibly up until this point. And this was a roller coaster of emotions with how well made this quest was. This quest was simply “Perfection”.

Because Scara is too strong. He can't be defeated by the Traveller and Nahida as they are in the beginning. The Traveller needed all the battle experience (as mentioned in 7:41) he can get to figure out how to defeat him, so Nahida created a samsara, and they battled with him 168 times. As discussed in Act II of the AQ, Dehya got better in wielding her new claymore in every dream, so Traveller got better in every fight. And you're right, Nahida may have wanted to make a point about the Subzeruz festival, but...if it took 168 loops of the festival to make him a god, wouldn't it be poetic if it took 168 loops of trial fights to actually defeat him? 😊
