Btw I'm using honor 90 at so far smooth naman no fps drop sa games like genshin, cod ml (naka depende ata sa updates ng phone ang highest setting sa ml kasi I was able to play with highest setting available) kahit . Naka depende lang siguro sa adjustment sa power consumption.

7gen1 is slightly powerful than the 778g (545k Vs 600k comparison in antutu) but in this phone, they made the chipset more powerful than the original 7gen1, (the antutu are 660k - 700k+)

That would require a complete overhaul of the rendering engine and even then it should be backwards compatible, so, yes.
