Hi Peggy, Thank you so much for all your videos, instructions and passion. I know when you laid out the L C D method I needed to listen up. quickly so I have been doing just that. I started to think about your method and the wisdom in it and a few scriptures jumped to mind so I wanted to share them with you Isaiah 54:2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; (circumference) do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. (Depth of Darts) L C D but that's not all in the bible is full of wonderful references to patterning everything that was created. Here's another exciting scripture about patterning Jeremiah 10:12 God made the earth by His power; He established the world by His wisdom and stretched out the heavens by His understanding.I hope these scriptures delight your heart. I have really appreciated all the sewing videos you have shared. I'm passing the information on to my daughter in-a law who's a beginning sewer and shows real interest in sewing,. Many thanks, Mary Ellen
Hi Peggy, great vid as always. Love your top....thinking of black with red roses and black, did you topstitch the diagonal seams? How much black fabric at hip level, looks like 2" front & back. Sue A. England.
We did it on a webcast for Holiday in November. All the details are in that webcast and I did top stitch the seam. It is leather piping. Hope that helps.
Hi Aqueenlee, Her top is cool! Peggy showed how to make it on her Nov 21, 2016 webcast. It's available on her website if you can't find it on youtube. Pam M.
Can you please explain how to correct the bust dart you added, on the pattern? Do you take it from the yoke or the front piece or both? Sorry for being slow.
There is a seam there...you probably cannot see it...there is a yoke line there, so you just increase the yoke line, both top and bottom, and then the amount you decreased the side seam by, add that much to the hem so the side seam will match the back.

Thanks Peggy & by the way I love your top😍
Thanks for watching.
Hi Peggy, Do I pic the size with the easy that I want? Thank you for the tutorial you are knowledgeable girl.
I’ve seen Peggy say to go to your closet and measure your favorite top then use that size to make original “muslin”

Yes, same here. I'm not sure what you mean - Is it a deeper dart? But you say it's not in the final garment. Sorry, maybe just being dense.

I made an "A" in geometry but still can't figure out "L-C-D" LOL! I'm just glad you have nice-fitting patterns. :)
