in unplanned failover scenario if i start the vm on host 2 manually and once my host 1 is up i want to fail back what is the procedure? all the changes which i made on the vm in host 2 will reflect on host 1 after failback?
hello, very clear video. Can I ask you a question? the virtual machines replicated on the replica server must remain off or can they be started in this way if a primary is down the replica is already active ??
You can do Planned or Un-Planned fail over for VMs,. But you need to make sure one VM must need to be in off state.. otherwise it can create issue with VM itself.
@@LabsHandsOn for example primary hyper v server goes down and we do not have option to enable planned or unplanned, in that case secondary VM can pe turn on with the same IP address? its os level replication or if we have any application running that will also work?
@@LabsHandsOn How did you deploy it? Have you put the primary and replica server in the same VLAN? I'm asking it because we don't have a load balancer to control what service or app is running or not and I have no idea how to do a DR within different VLANs.

How did you enable nested virtualisation?
i am using nested virtualization on my physical machine with hypervisor
