Baby steps! pick small things like getting up 30 minutes earlier and do one thing that you know will help you like Bible Study. Then pick the next baby step. Give it two to four weeks and pick the next. Small goals lead to larger achievements. Don't be afraid to ask for help be it a hug, call to your sister or just time for 30 minutes in the shower. Aso remember we who follow your channel only wish for the best for you.

Thank you for sharing your struggles. Regarding habit creation and consistency with it i found something that really helped me. I think about how much of a given habit i would be able to do at my worst day. For me i defined it to be 15 min of a workout for example. So now i do 15 min workouts 4x per week and i have been consistent with it ever since - i even now do 30 instead of the 15 min when i feel like it. But i do not skip 15 min 4x per week, because it is so doable - even if i do not have time or i feel tired. I just use the free workout programs of caroline girvan or fitness kaykay on youtube. When movements are too intense i just modify them. Same with diet. I do not do a calorie deficit. I eat for about 2000- 2300 calories per day. I avoid foods that i know will trigger me to overeat (cheese, chips, fried things etc). I try to not eat more than 15- 20 g of saturated fats per day (up to 80g total fat). I include a lot of fruit and veg at every meal to assure i get enough fiber, vitamins and to bulk out my meals. I completely avoid artificial sweeteners as they are really bad for the gut microbiome and overall health. So far i feel really good with this. Regarding social media for your small business - i would look into your etsy stats to see how many purchases really come from social media. I also have an etsy shop and for me social media was a real waste of time in regards of time invested vs orders i got from it. I would much rather try to focus on the etsy platform itsself to increase sales. I personally do etsy ads and i run regular sales, both help in increasing your visibility on the platform. The advantage of etsy is that it is a place where you have customers that are already looking to buy something. Just a thought, so you only focus your efforts to wards tasks that give a good return on investment (time in this case). ❤❤❤

Really great tips! I know I need to start small and set my expectations in the beginning lower - I get impatient haha. But I’m in this for the long haul. If that means it takes more than a year to shed the weight then that’s what it takes. A 15 minute workout is better than no workout! And that’s true about social media - I built my business without social media being a focus other than TH-cam really. I think I get caught up in the comparison trap - I compare myself to my competition and feel as though I’m not doing enough. 🫣

We can do anything but we can’t do all the things. A simple phrase but I return to it often. You’ve put so much on your plate, sometimes all the things we want to do don’t match up to the time we have available or the $$ to make it happen. Feeling down for months is not a personal failing or something to be ashamed of. Stress can lead to burnout and burnout can lead to depression. Please talk about how you have been struggling with your doctor. You can’t take care of your loved ones without taking care of yourself. No one can. I think we can pull it off for a while, fake it till we make it, pull ourselves up sometimes. If someone you love shared that they were feeling like you have been, what would you tell them to do? Sending hugs.

That’s so true! I’ve started asking myself if one of my daughters were feeling the same way, what would I tell them to do? That hits right where it needs to! I love that phrase too. It’s very true - and when my priorities are out of whack it really messes me up, which is exactly what’s been going on for quite some time. Thanks so much for your encouragement and kindness 🫶🏼

I want so much to try to help you. I wish I could offer you advice but sometimes people don’t want it. They just really want to vent and for someone to listen. I am here for you. A TH-camr I watch sees a counselor and goes to a nutritionist or dietician. I was watching her yesterday and she’s having a rough time. She is very inspirational to me and a lot of others. She was saying that she was so angry about something but instead of trying to disregard it she let herself feel it. She went to her car and screamed her lungs out. She said it took a bit but she felt better later on. It helps that she sees someone about her feelings too. Anyway. I don’t know how I can help except to pray for you. Things do get better but sometimes we have to feel it. Then hopefully we move on. Much love to you. ❤

? Your solution to burn out is to try to do more? 🤔

Thanks so much for the book recommendation! Sorry if I gave the impression that I’m trying to do more - I have actually scaled back on work to prioritize self-care. I view exercising, eating right, making time to read and do the things I love as a way to combat the burn out and improve my mental health. So while it does add to my to do’s - it fills my cup more than it takes away. That’s just me though! 🥰

Not at all! It brings me an immense amount of joy and has been a blessing for our family. I mean that sincerely - I know for some it could contribute to burn out, but for me it has been filling up my cup vs taking away from it. 💕
