i tryed 7.5 rows vs 30 in rows at same pop and at harvest in a 300bu load the difference was 1 bushel so planting with a 30 ft planter vs a 15 ft drill the planter wins out and i have the choice to cultivate if it get dry and the last few years i have dropped bean pop from 140,000 down to 80,000 and yields have gone up especially on the high sand and now i double crop beans behind all my wheat at the 80,000 pop in 30 in rows

great vid, thanks. higher seed cost and overlap can kill the benefit, but it's retained if you can seed early (at same time)
