For beginners?....when you miss bits of important details out?...I'm not a beginner but I struggled with your 'instructions' and gave up in the end.....

When using the process using the main pen tool, the first selected part of the mask was removed and the rest was completely disappeared, that's why I also gave up at that point.
Don't give up 💪, It same feeling to me, I felt difficult to fellow His instruction, I have to pause the video hundred times to apply steps and practice, maybe you and I founded his tutorial hard to fellow because we hurry to learn every thing at time, but if you try to learn little bit by little and apply step serval times you won't find it difficult.
