In theory, it would be negative if the discounts and savings happen to be higher than the actual cost of factoring but in reality, factoring is very costly and will, therefore, most likely be positive.
The calculations seem to be wrong, also the factoring rate is coming to 17.2% does that mean we shouldn't take up factoring? Also could you please check the calculations on your end

and why charging the service fee on the annual sales amount, why not the proportion to be financed by factoring (R493 150) ?
