Yes, it was a lot of fun and certainly an adventure, but I was glad to be back in the woods after all that mayhem! This camp spot was a little remote-ish, but not too bad, maybe 20 minutes drive off the highway, and yeah, just a big pullout on a horseshoe bend, not an official campsite... :)

You have such an accessible and conversational editing style that even when the footage isn't top notch, it's still interesting when paired with your personality. Love it! Also, could I recommend a Thermocell for the bugs? It would probably work great to create a zone of control around the car.
Hi Diane instead of dealing with those big bags that you put ice in, try putting ice in a large zip lock freezer bag. I put two on the bottom of my insulated bag and two on top. Works good! 😊
True but once you do it's done and when the ice finally melts it's completely container. But at the end of the day....to each his own! We all have to do what works best for us. Happy travels!

I spent the majority of my adult life overstressed and overstimulated and just wanting to run away and disappear until a severe mental breakdown in 2015 forced me to make a change. I made extreme changes and now live a calm and peaceful life with little stress. While I initially thought of this lifestyle as a means of escape, now it’s more for the adventure and just to explore, something I was never in a position to do before! Nature is my Xanax too, better than the pills ever were! I get out in it every chance I get! Loving your videos more and more and I truly love your positive outlook on everything. You’re just a joy❤

It’s interesting to me how I responded to that concert event. I felt stressed the whole time. I’m trying to figure out why. It was uncomfortable. The heat, bathrooms, food, noise and I was worried for you. 🤷🏼♀️
A nice state park secluded camp site would help I think, no worry about a knock at 3am, safe/secure and all the nature you would want. Might be a nice break! A lot even have electric so you can charge everything up, and clean bathrooms + showers.
I know, I know, I shouldn't be so cheap, but finding these places is part of the thrill, and the money I save can be used for really important things, like a new hat, blanket, lantern, and huckleberry ice cream as you'll soon see... :)
When the kids were young, and we had a tent trailer sans bathroom, we loved them too for all those reasons! They tend to be hidden gems compared to the more crowded national parks.

Hi Diane, so sorry for the loss of your loved one! Glad to see you back to your home on wheels. I could not have gone to the concert. I have trouble going grocery shopping lol. I’m an introvert by nature. To recharge my batteries, a swim or soak in a natural body of water( even just my feet in a stream, river/ or even a rain puddle 😂). Being in nature with a good book and fresh air! A hot shower before bed and cuddles with my two chihuahuas. That salad looked amazing! Loved the scenery.❤
That all sounds heavenly! One of the tragedies of this trip is that I didn't even THINK about hot springs or plan time to find them, and I passed by soooo many. Next time... :)
