I'm so glad this video was made.. Shows how good ur character is nafia.. U accepted that u were wrong in not talking for so long to ur parents and that shows what a good heart u have.. Everyone fights in families but to accept and recognize ur faults is something else.. Lots of love and duas to u and your family

It would be really interesting to find out about your experience of living in Pakistan for 10 years Nafia.
It’s ok Nafia we can understand. U were in stress from work at home and back with ur hubby it’s fine every female faces a lot of issues. Don’t worry dear it’s nt ur fault ur father got an attack it’s coz of his diet don’t worry. Don’t fight with ur folks or siblings even if u do just patch up at the earliest.

I’m also not talking to my younger brother after a huge fight for two weeks now and we are in the same city and just 2 houses away from each other.

Love your honesty Nafia and Mama. We all fight with out family but because we love them the most it hurts more. We all need to learn to forgive and forget and move on. Its not worth it. You wouldn't want to die being angry with a loved one and not having made up with them. Its just wasted time which could have been spent wisely.

Iv lost both my parents within 5 years it’s the worst pain my heart aches every day .life is so empty without them 😢...cherish your parents .

Nafia...please can u discuss your postnatal depression further. I went through this and found that in our culture it is a taboo subject so really had no one to talk to.
Yes . Someone in my family literally told me there’s no such thing as post natal depression and I just wasn’t grateful enough to allah . This was while I was going through it.
I don't think it's a taboo subject anymore, more like lack of awareness. I have relatives in Pakistan and they suffer from this, one in particular ( my sister in law) has been sufferings for over 10 years. Our extended family and the locals seem to know well about it. My mother in law has made a point to openly discuss it with everyone. But I do know Desi's don't like to discuss things and that is here in England! I know women here who are going through depression ( not post natal) and they just want to talk about how they feel and have that support. I've helped a good few, just by taking and finding medical advice for them.
You and your family are the guenine real down to earth brown family on social media. No airs or graces, so honest and we learn lessons, may Allah keep you all safe, healthy and happy. Aameen

Don 't worry nafia it was a shaytan moment... inchalah everything will be fine .... i know what could nafia feel ,because of the weight she was put threw in her life with beign the oldest ,doctor,mom so many responsabilities... i can see she is very caring sometimes beyond her abilities i can relate myself sometimes we need to let go on some weight sometimes we couldn t do so much and it s ok but remember always family is so much precious they couldn t be more perfect even if we choose bcz it is allah plan...Eid is a day of forgivness and letting go may allah give us all a peace of mind ...

But I do feel poor Nafia has a lot of stress/ pressure on her shoulders and all family pressures should be equally shared out. I did enjoy watching this video and the way that you highlighted the issues that many families face. However, I disagree with the statement "Your parents can beat you up, they can throw you out of the house....its their god given right." Telling the youth of today that violence, in any form, is acceptable is the wrong message to send. Your parents do not have a god given right to inflict harm upon you, in the same way that no other human being has the right, there are other ways of dealing with conflict.

I don’t agree with the whole your parents can beat you and do whatever and you should accept it. Abuse can be very detrimental to people’s mental health and I don’t think it should be tolerated.

It was so good to hear this today just the reminder I needed had a small argument with my dad a few days ago and I was very upset and angry. This reminded me of the time he had a heart attack and I prayed for him so much. Sometimes anger and shaytaan get the better of us may Allah give us all strength and sabr to deal with family issues through being calm and patient.

Thank you for sharing with us as if we are your real family also a suggestion I think it would very empowering to see a Muslim family using family counselling/therapy to help through their issues because you have such a great following you can really encourage others to use the tools such as Family therapy to help them through. I can imagine all the sisters and mama on the therapist coach and mama taking over lool. Love you guys and honestly you are always in my dua xx

Secondly thank you for sharing the story about what happened - and whilst watching the vlog I was just thinking to myself that Nafia has an air of calm about her Mash'Allah - I could really feel that calm and around about 10 mins later Nafia you said that something has changed within you and you feel calm.. Alhamdullilah that's great.
All family members argue sometimes - just a part of life - but I do totally agree with you that parents are so special so always keep a good relationship with them.. No one knows when their time is written and the worst thing is to have regrets after which eat you up inside...
Do all you can for your parents and never underestimate the power of the duas they make for you when they are pleased with you

I watch your vlogs regularly. Heart disease runs in our family. I would say give him ajwa date seeds powder daily in the morning. I use to buy Siafa ajwa date seeds powder from madina, so make sure you buy genuine products.

So happy to see this vlog. Iam also the eldest sis in fam and I also get very emotional and angre over little things, if its unfair only then. Sometimes i could wish i just shut up like my other sis but i cant thats not how iam. I can see my self in u Naf we are not bad person. We are just more emotional and feels more than other. But we have to stay calm and have patience, SABBAR. Its hard but not impossible. Iam also trying. Plz let me know if you have some good tips i want to hear. A little off topic but just wondering has Maliha tried cbd oil? So sad to hear she goes through so much pain. It worked for a friend very well alhamdulila it does wonders. I'd definately recommend it as a last option if you've tried everything and nothing works.
