I remember seeing it in a shop recently and having had to chuckle: the audacious size of it! I think this would make a good base for a cyberpunk style modding project. I would then - of course - put it on a bracelet that demands an even heavier wrist presence, PVD coated shark mesh for example. Thanks for showing.
I own one. It's really big and pulls lots of attention. It helps me keep up with various time zones as I have lot of students in China and USA and it help me keep up with their training schedule
This was so entertaining to watch it almost felt like a guilty pleasure. I've seen this particular watch and similar models for years in places like aliexpress and wish.com. my initial thought of the watch was always: well, that's unique. However, going by pictures online I never imagined it took up some much wrist real estate. This thing is definitely unique but also hilarious. I could see myself buying one of these just to see it on the wrist, at home, when no one's looking late at night sortv of thing, lol. So I'm so grateful you did that and put it on here for folks like me to quietly live vicariously and laugh about it without actually buying this watch. I love it (the watch) but I would never have the courage to wear it in public. 🤣🤣🤣 On a little more serious note I'm glad you also pointed out the skmei actually makes some decent watches. I've owned one of there all metal casio replicas and it's actually really good.
Thank you James! I'm so happy you enjoyed watching the video. I really enjoy making them, and get a kick out of checking out all these watches too. At work, my colleagues know that I basically come to work with a different watch every single day... and that's part of the fun. Thank you again for watching, and commenting! By the way, I was thinking of buying that Casio look-alike watch too from SKMEI... I suspect it's much larger than the original Casio sized watch.
@@ToddsWatchshop actually the Casio replica is really close in size and appearance. That's kind of what makes it such a good buy. I've beat mine up pretty bad and it still works great. The metal the case is made of is some sort of mystery plated metal but for the price, how could you complain. If you're into field watches may I suggest a look at the tonnier weekender. Another great gem from the Chinese market 👍 Looking forward to more reviews, cheers!
Hi, if you press and hold the lower left button, it will go into "set" mode. This will start flashing the alarm time. You then hit the lower left button again as many times as you need until you see it flashing the seconds on the ACTUAL time. You then use the lower-right button to change WHICH piece of time you want to adjust (hour, minutes, day, month, etc.) and you use the upper LEFT button to advance, and the upper right button to reverse. When you're done, you hit the lower left button again. Hope that helps! I had to run down stairs to check.
@@ToddsWatchshop just to add, if you press the right two buttons together, it turns the alarm on/off, I'm 61 and this reminded of me of my youth so much I had to have one, it IS a brick, but I kinda like it.
I wish I knew. I work from home, and it sits in the cabinet, and it goes off every day at 12:00. I still haven't bothered to figure it out yet... haha!
Hah, true... the guy suckered me into it. I had just bought another watch, and when I got back to give him the receipt from the tent, he had this new watch prominently displayed that wasn't there before with a big grin on his face... I was like... damnit... and walked back to the tent to make another purchase.
I have a $10 plastic Skmei digital watch. For some reason the plastic bezel rotates and clicks like a diver's watch even though it has no markings and it's not an analogue watch face.
So the top movement has a separate crown which you can pull out and adjust. Each of the movements operate independently. It's pretty funny... but it is a really cool watch.
Pronounced....SKI MAY
THANK YOU!!!! I mean that, haha... I appreciate it.

How do you change the digital time on this watch? I can’t figure it out!

How to turn off the chime that ring every hour.?

That’s pretty crazy! It’s nicer than I thought it would be. You’ve got a much cooler purchase story than just buying it online or at Walmart!

LOL, that is awesome... totally hilarious!
Very thorough review!!! How did you set the time for the top clock?

which one is more classy .? Black or Silver one?
I think the silver comes off more “real”, the black one though is nice too, but you have to have the right clothes for it.
@@ToddsWatchshop Thank you 😍
I have one, I love it stand out on my hand.
Saw it recently . do want
อยากทราบราคาเท่าไหร่ครับ
It only shook the world when it was dropped!
Haha!
It's more functional than my dz7179 super bad ass esp the digital display which have light, timer and alarm.
Skmei is pronounced as "Su Ku Mei" but all together like Sukumei.
Thank you!🙂
It's very the same watch with the FEICE FK030 😮
It looks like something a spy from the 50s would use :)
Hahah... I know, it's pretty awesome.
dayum only if i had big wrists
did you find this off the beating path, hope you didnt step on it
I found it in Afghanistan!
No. He literally beat the path with that thing. Path died of its injuries in 2021. The watch guy is now serving 25 to life😔
