Hisense RQ760N4AIF - NO ICE OR WATER! Can it be fixed?

- This Hisense RQ760N4AIF American style fridge freezer hasn’t been great at making ice or dispensing water since we got it 2 years ago.
I’ve had 2 engineers out to fix it and today a wee update on the fixes.
Also broken door close mechanism
We are on our 2nd model of this as the first one was replaced due to the water/ice issue and the thermostat not being able to be replaced.
Guess what… our replacement one is exactly the same. Either we all have the same bad batch or it’s a design flaw or manufacturing issue.
As we had it replaced Hisense are saying the warranty starts from when the original one was delivered and we are now over our 2 year warranty.
That’s ridiculous.
The guy that came to sort ours said it was a design fault and it would not be fixable.
We are just living with it now. Quite disappointed but what can you do
I have the same problem, it keeps making sounds but no water or ice comes out
I have the RS694N4TD1. All good for a year or so and then suddenly no ice! Makes noise like its pulling the water but doesnt! Now trying the hot water in the reservoir idea in hope it will thaw the pipes.. No joy as yet though.
I gave up on it after making this video. Tried it again recently and still nothing. :(
I have just bought this exact fridge freezer and just after two days it froze up and does not work. All my vegetables, keep freezing too.

Same issue. Mine is not even a month old. I think I should have bought the Samsung

Unfixable. Would not recommend unless you are happy to go without the water and ice.
