Let me ask you three questions. ⒈Who created the creator called "the God"? ⒉What is the real meaning of "meaning 意味"? ⒊What do you think about other religions, especially Islam which the religion claims like Christianity that "Our religions is the only one and absolute Truth"
Thanks so much for asking. I want to take a little more time to answer you well and right now I have two big deadlines to meet. But, I'll get back with you within the next 2-3 days. I really appreciate you asking.
Thanks for your patience. So, concerning your three questions: 1. The Bible teaches that God, the Creator of all has no beginning and no end. About 3,500 years ago, one of God's prophets wrote the following words: "Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God." (Bible) That's an amazing statement for so long ago. If we think about it, this universe and all exists, so SOMETHING or SOMEONE has to be eternal. 2. The meaning of "meaning" when we use it concerning the "meaning of life" is the ULTIMATE PURPOSE of a human's existence. 3. About other religions, I think that all religions have some truth in them. But, the difficulty is how to know what is truth and what is not truth. I believe that if we can really know that the Bible is God's revelation to us, then the Bible becomes our standard to be able to know what is truth and what is not truth. I tried to share in some of the previous videos that only our Creator God can really tell us about why we exist, since only the person who makes something can say why he made that. I think it's important to investigate to see if there is enough evidence to prove that the Bible really is God's revelation. In the next several weeks we will be looking at some of that evidence. About Islam, you may be aware that Mohammed lived about 600 years after Jesus Christ. The Koran contains some truths of the Bible, but also mixes in ancient Arab religious ideas. One of the very sad things about the Koran is that it says that Jesus didn't die on the cross for our sins. This I read myself in an English translation of the Koran. This is very sad as the death and resurrection of Jesus is a central theme of the entire Bible. Most religions contain some truths, but the real solution for human sin is found in the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, paying the price for our sins. Jesus Himself clear said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me" (Bible, John 14:6). Only Jesus was punished for all of humanity's sins. Jesus took our punishment on himself, so that God could continue to be a righteous judge, but still offer forgiveness for us, if we accept it. Thanks again for your questions. Please feel free to ask more.
@@生きる意味とは-i7k Thank you for your respond and answer. I'm really appreciated your answer. Let me introduce myself and communicate with you. I'm Vietnamese who lives in Japan and be able to understand basics of east and western cultures, philosophies, and religions. I'm irreligion and philosophical theist (or deist), and also, My meaning and purpose of life is becoming the philosophy and establish philosopher for Japan -Vietnam, and whole world. So I can read and understand basic of Bible and Christian teaching and philosophy. I'm really interested in your videos, so let me request you my own suggestion. Generally, most Japanese people's view of "God" is really near apatheism. Most Japanese people don't even understand about the concept of "God". And Japanese philosophy tend to be realism and pragmatism due to the influence of Confucianism greatly and deeply. So, from my personal and humble suggestion, I think it may be good to introduce Christianity in the way of realism and pragmatism. Because, as you may already know, for example, Thomas Aquinas Notable work "Summa Theologiae", and "Summa contra Gentiles", Christianity starts from the first philosophical question "Why" (like the origin of universe, the principle of natural law, Metaphysical thoughts, etc), but Japanese philosophy starts from the realistic and pragmatic question "How"(like moral, ethic, strategy, method, etc) So, it may be good to star from the introduce from the point of "How" to the point of "Why". This is called 下学上達(Learn from familiar and easy things, and gradually learn more advanced and deeper. Also, start learning from places which close to you and gradually improve to ideas which far from reality.) I hope this is a good suggestion for you. Thank you and I hope you have good days and success.
Thanks so much for your explanation. I've read it 2 or 3 times and want to read it more and think about it. I think what you are writing really makes sense. I really appreciate you sharing this with me. Being from Vietnam I would have expected quite a bit of Buddhist influence and possibly atheistic thinking, due to communism. I can tell you have really read and studied a lot. I hope you'll continue to be thinking with me and please continue to respond. I have benefited from your sharing. Thanks again!!
