The change of 50 V-Bucks for the battle bass going from 950 to 1,000 is really annoying. I know it’s only 50 V-Bucks, but it’s just annoying and there was no reason to do it. 950 was fine.
I'm going in blind and saying it's cus of the fear of the recent tariffs they are upping the prices like every other company just to prepare for those hits in revenue...
What they actually did was take 50 v-bucks from the 25 lvls premium pass and add that 50 v-bucks to the normals premium pass. This change was made to hopefully promote the 25 lvls premium pass to more people while keeping the normal premium pass the same for whether you buy v-bucks or save it from the free pass. I don’t know if it’s working but that was their plan. So I don’t really mind.

As a 2017 Founder Pack Owner, I never understood the crave for vbucks, way back when, we could just play the game and get vbucks, or log in and randomly get them. It was endearing, but aside from lhamas that would give us traps, guns and other assortments, we barely used vbucks, when the fortnite store came, the appeal of skins and emotes got me and most of the founders eager to spend them on that, and many different other cool stuff that would pop into the store. But we quickly found out that skins bought in the store couldn't be used in other modes, so most hardcore players sorta stopped spending them, or left the gamemode. Nowadays, vbucks feel unneeded, sure it's cool to have some skins, but most players will only use 2-3 and don't care for others. I invite anyone to tell me when was the last time you used a skin you bought from the store more than 6 months ago. Nearly 8 years later, i still get vbucks for free, but the incentive is just not there. Too many brandings and collabs overwhelm the player base... You reap what you sow
I disagree. I got into stw in 2018. Didn't like the spin off :/ but when i came back and bp xp could be earned in stw, i finally got into br. Fast forward and i prob spent 100-200 dollars from being impatient with item shops and for the 3 months of crew I had. Did I regret it? Yes. But now I can finally relax. I can grind out whatever i want without worrying too much. Oh btw vbucks did have a use besides what the tickets are used for. Unslotting things from the collection book. 50 legendary flux is not worth it. I kind of miss the old hero system. I got into Battle Breakers because of STW. It borrows monetization systems from Fortnite. One bonus feature was passes were litteraly seasonal. If you bought that season's pass, then next year you wouldn't need to buy it again. The pass gave you a boost to the grind and early access to a new hero. I never bought it. Everyone was refunded (supposedly) when it shut down. To this day, i wish someone recorded the instructions. I gave up looking for them on the internet. It was pretty fun! And it was f2p. F2p could have saved Save the World.
Fun fact: Vbucks also used to be spent on Llamas back then on STW. IMO this may seem expensive but considering how easy it was to get Vbucks through a founders pack it wasn’t too bad, still enjoy the new system though.
i feel like epic will one day remove founder pack owners ability to do missions for vbucks, although I wonder if its a big enough dent to their profits for them to even worry about it
@ I doubt it, They already abandoned STW and Epic always has respect for OGs as shown through the exclusive editable styles on skins when they come back to the item shop.
@ yeah I stopped playing back in 2019 and came back every once in a while when I saw a skin I liked was dropping to get because one day I would return and then I started playing again when OG dropped and spend an hour checking out the whole shop and seeing all the new stuff they added
I love the way you retain the atmosphere of the topic of your video with something as simple as wild card consistently sitting and preaching campfire stories on the fn map
I think that the changes to the fortnite crew make sense. I have also noticed that xp doesn't really seem to be much of an issue I have played semi frequently throughout this season so far and I am already level 60 which means I am on track to being level 100 way before the season ends and I don't even play much.
The xp thing is really not a problem (I'm level 89 already lol) and the crew It's honestly a very good deal, specially if you play different modes regularly.
yeah and i know glitches shouldn't be mandatory but if you are REALLY concerned about getting your moneys worth in one month of crew you can always just keep an eye on reddit and youtube for xp maps. I already earned over 50+ levels from multiple bugs this season and I'm on track to not need crew next month unless I want the super styles
Finally someone made a video about the obvious strats epic is doing. With the overpriced items on the shop, of course the fortnite crew seems like an amazing deal. Its so basic, i cant believe so many people fall for this types of traps
Just say you’re poor LMFAOO. I bought the crew pass and got EVERY SINGLE ITEM from every pass. Onlyy wait in until Godzilla unlocks. U sound stupid aff tho. It’s 10000% worth it. Got like 10+skins for 15$ a MONTH. That’s a good ass deal,ANYONE who thinks that isn’t is broke asf I’m sorry😭😭🙏🏽
the crew is and always has been a good deal simply. $12 for now 12+ skins. Its not a trap just decide how you spend your money. people forget forrtnite is predatory to MINORS not adults who should have control over their wallet
This is exactly why I got save the world, the daily challenges gives at least 80 vbucks for free which adds up really quickly and is worth so much more than paying a subscription, especially for people who don’t have the money for the subscription
@@terrillwilson1345 they prob bought it before they removed founders. I mean i bought it in 2018, before the launcher turned into a store and before the weekly free games.
Great video! And another thing about Fortnite Crew, if you got the Crew on day 1 of the season, you would have to buy it again if you wanted Godzilla, because Epic purposefully waits more than a month to release exclusive skins like this
it is not on purpose. They have made people wait for the secret skins for years now. It is just a coincidence that the crew lines up so you have to buy a extra month. Do some research.
@MonkeFive I’m not either. You get the battle pass when you buy crew. You don’t have to buy it again to keep the battle pass, you still keep it obviously….
8:06 Another thing that Fortnite started to do was that basically there is no exclusivity anymore (with the exceptions of the battlepasses previous to ch5s4), meaning that the Fortnite crew doesnt give you exclusive monthly skins anymore. This is an oportunity for them to re-add them to the item shop at a later date for a price of 1500 V-Bucks (The sweet spot for skin prices as you mentioned), also, in a way, pushing people into buying the skins since some of the crew skins could be considered rare and fan favorites.
No, just no, Crew skins are always able to come back where even the first crew pack they confirmed they'll return. Battlepass content is the only limited time content, maybe some shop exclusives, that they might resell and offer a alt style in turn.
@Spiffyo Yes, I know, that's true, except by the fact that in their new terms and conditions for you to play fortnite is that you have to agree to not complaining if old cosmetics return (only exception being the battlepasses previous to Ch5S4). This allows Fortnite to add skins from Cups, Quests and even PS4-5 packs to return because they are NOT Battle pass skins
@@RequiemRiqueGames So people having the opportunity to aquire a skin they like, that Epic can provide is an issue? I think removing permanent FOMO is for the better, theres no excuse for digital cosmetics to be inaccessible since they take up storage and add up.
@@RequiemRiqueGames Sorry man, I thought you we're one of the gatekeepers who are foulmouthed that all content going forward wouldn't be permenantly unavailable.
@ my guy, do you understand what I'm saying? If they remove rarities, there is no point in pricing skins differently, the only way I see that being acceptable would be collabs 💀
@@PoxxerzI find it genuinely insane how some people try justify them removing rarities saying it was an old outdated system when it was working fine before so there wasn’t anything wrong with it so many epic games apologists
You get double the value with crew for three months. As someone who has already bought the crew membership monthly, this has brought the value up by so much. The XP change is the only thing pissing me off, I was barely able to reach level 200 beforehand since I got a job. Now I’d be lucky to even reach level 150 for all the rewards besides the ugly alt skins for the battlepass skins lol
How would I be spending more in the long run ? If you bought individual passes every season then you would be wasting your money in the long run , regardless it’s a subscription service and if you wanna cancel it you can , people don’t end subscription services to keep using the service for months on end- they get the subscription & delete the service when they done with it and use up the last remaining amount and move on
They already made it so you can’t do that, for example no matter what level you were when the new Fortnite OG dropped you had to level up the same number of times to get the OG Pass rewards. They even removed the Level 1001 cap because a few players encountered an issue that they couldn’t get OG Pass rewards since they were already at level 1001 and couldn’t level up further (don’t ask me how on Earth they got to that level in the first place, but it is true).
@@Kanker429 but it might change if more people do the same thing. I was considering keeping my crew subscription next year, but now i don't think i will, because i strongly dislike the way Epic is leading their business, it's becoming predatory and i don't feel good spending too much money on this game anymore, and I KNOW i'm not the only one.
The points you make are absolutely true; no counter argument from me. There's so many items that are priced way too high for how little they can offer. Kicks and instruments being the worst offender, and the trend towarss collab skins because they have all the freedom in the world to price them highly due to recognition. But about Crew, wouldnt it be possible to just level up normally, without any battle passes, then pay for the subscription whenever you're eligible to redeem everything you want? Like, yeah, I would like to use the new Hope skin right now, but since Crew works like that, it would be better for me to wait until I'm level 100 + eligible to redeem Godzilla as well, then subscribe and immediately cancel. You still get the vbucks from the battle pass too, so it's a good chunk of vbucks (with admittedly less buying power) and all you did was play normally and have patience to not buy the Crew immediately.
I just want to say how amazingly edited this video is with all of its information. Most other videos I found were not as informative as this one. Mostly just saying things is paying money bad! v bucks bad! Thank you for making such a great video.
Since the free battle pass I just keep the vbucks i got from the battle pass and keep buying the battle pass on seasons moving forward for free. Only spend the extra 300 vbucks or just save it and it will be 3k vbucks and can buy some things from the item shop. :) Nice video man. Learned how the anchor marketing strategy works👍
Easy fix for the point made in the crew + xp changes. Dont buy crew until you've completed / you're close to completing the passes. You'll pretty much just unlock everything then, and then you can just immediately cancel the subscription.
@@dimenzio3612 Yes, you earn stars with or without the battle pass. I've never bought a battle pass immediately during the season and always wait until the end of the month, then I buy crew, so I got the pass and two crew skins. You get the same amount of stars per level up (5) with or without the battle pass/crew. If you buy the pass or crew when you're level 100, then you can just unlock everything in the pass immediately once you purchase it
I think a better way to get the best bang for your buck is if you bought the kicks and you could change their colors to whatever you want them to. Instead we’re forced to buy the same kicks in a different color way every time.
Just remember that unlike real products there is 0 production cost, infinite supply,no transport costs and very little labour going into producing these goods. Fortnite sets the prices to whatever they feel like and they can get away with it because unlike real life there is no competitor to buy the skins from (they own 100% of the market)
how is there no production cost? The CEO makes the skins? Developers and artists gotta make a living . Of course there's production cost. Also there's server costs, a free game still has to pay server costs, if not constant ads like mobile games, then its cosmetics. So no, even tho prices could probably be musch lower, it's not like they could price everything at 1$.

I just wanna say i love the video and how in-depth your going into this topic. im only halfway thru so far and i highly agree with your viewpoints and it helps me think critically on why things are so expensive in Fortnite.
the time span of the passes don't match, so you'll always be missing one or two, and if you only care about the battle pass, then is better to just buy it individually atp
I think one of the changes in crew it's if you don't have your crew active when the pass gets released you don't get the pass. Not usre about it tho, but that's what i understand. I'm crew for 2 years now so doesn't really concern me. I saw he benefir of crew even before they made all passes included, i bought passes before with the vbucks i got from crew now i have vbucks that i have nothing to spend on lol epic gives a lot of stuff free so i don't understand ppl who complain, you don't need to have every single item they come out with. 🙄
@@gusvsconcelos for as long as we knew Crew, this basically changes nothing. Crew before was Battle Pass only. If you were to only want the battle pass still, nothing changes for you and you still level up first, then buy Crew. If you want to own the passes, genuinely buy them
Thank you for covering this, I fell into their goldilox pricing when i came back to the game. I wanted to have the OG pass skins but didnt have enough vbucks to buy that and the original battle pass. There was something wringing in my head after my purchase, especially after their new updated End User License Agreement. After looking at that and this video, it has definitely gave me a bad taste in my mouth. As someone who's been playing since CH1 Season 5, it feels worse to see all these collab skins and inflated prices on everything while also receiving less XP. Im not even trying to play this game as much as I used to, I originally had so much love for the game, it would be the only game i'd play for weeks. But with every new chapter it's monetization has slowly kept me away. Maybe i'm not their valued customer, but at one point, i felt myself to be a valued player. Now, I can't feel but an unease and cringe whenever I'd recommend someone to play fortnite with me. It feels like im leading my friends/new players into something they dont want to invest more than an afternoon with. And i think thats one of my main issues, I wanna play this game with friends but with how Epic seems to be handling these changes, it won't matter how fun each new season is, I might turn away for good. I understand they're a business and i'm only one of theiir many customers, but it feels so wrong to know their history and where it's led up to now. Hopefully they can make new moves that will hopefully do whats best for their players rather than their pockets but I have my doubts. Here's to wishing for the best to this game! And thank you again for covering this topic.
One thing Fortnite was essentially praised for was the fact that stuff was pretty cheap Now though? It makes OW2’s monetization blush on some of the things Epic charges for
Ive been subscribed to crew since before it had more than the battle pass, them they upgraded it, 9 months now, no breaks, it IS a good value and now became a GREAT value because of the extra passes, i had sometimes bought the other passes because of a skin i liked, now i can save the vbucks for the item shop instead, hate when people act like them keeping the price the same and adding more is a disadvantage somehow
You actually only needed to buy once every two months to get most benefits, you only miss out on 1000 vbucks but crew is 5$ more expensive than 1000 vbucks in my country. I think it's better to stay subbed straight in America but I could be wrong. Although crew now also kinda pays for an og pass since they are a month, I hope next months skin is good as well because if I get the next og pass that's probably how I'd do it.
I’ve been a crew member since the first crew pack haven’t cancelled once, I don’t really see a point, I get an exclusive skin, the battle pass and 1k vbucks so to me it was a good deal but now that there are even more passes added to the crew it’s honestly much more worth it, kinda surprised epic didn’t raise the price of the crew when they added the others passes though.
Been playing since 2018, currently I have so many cosmetics I stopped looking at the passes that cost 1000 V-Bucks and give no V-Bucks back and only did the BR BP for tha last few seasons. I got the Fortnite Crew starting this month, what sold it to me was you pay 15€/month but get 10€ worth of V-Bucks back each month and the regular BR BP is included so it's 1600 more V-Bucks per season (around 500 V-Bucks per month), and that's 15€ worth of V-Buck every month...for spending 15€ per month. The reason I got it now is because it now includes OG Pass, LEGO Pass, and Music Pass too, so not only are you getting 15€ worth of V-Bucks for spending 15€ but all the other passes rewards. And more importantly the words say you can't claim any more premium rewards if your Crew ends, but you get to keep everything you have claimed. Finally it's been only 29 days in the new season with 53 days left, and I have barely played this season and I'm already 60+ level; 29/82 days = 35% of the season over, 60/160 levels to get all V-Bucks = 38% progress; and I've barely played this season maybe like 3-5 hours per week to do challenges and some Ranked, haven't even broke Silver and I'm usually high Plat. Please put back the pitchforks in the barn, the day to rebel is not today.
9:18 I am no business major but have done a ton of trading in separate games and this was fully on Epics radar. They knew the community would backlash, so, in response, they raised it to a margin that looked good on the outside. Even though this is considerably less than what we got prior, a large portion of the community didn’t realize it.
Crew as it stands now is great value, but timing when you resubscribe may be key to saving money. I'm over level 100 now and I've finished all the other passes on offer. I can choose to resub towards the end of the season if I feel like, but I don't want to miss out on all the passes that may take the place of the current ones. I have just decided to stay subbed, because I want everything.
Bruh, bought crew just for the new pass, with the intention of cancelling it next month, didn't know about expiration thing, thanks for info i won't give them my money ever again

@@dillonjelly3634 but epic games would still make a profit from 50 V-Buck shoes. On the other hand, it’s not that expensive and time consuming to model a shoe that already exists
It's stupid to pay for any of it unless you have the v bucks you win with the missions. Spend real money to use it a few times and forget about it... And it doesn't enhance the function of the game. These games are made for little kids to get their parents to spend money... As an older player... They hate me...
I have an older brother (around 28 now) that use to buy every pass even though he didn't seem to complete any, the one time he did I helped him and that was just t100. He did stop but only after not having as much money. I rarely buy in shop cosmetics and plan purchases sometimes months in advance. The vbuck budgeting I do for Fortnite is insane. I had a system that worked so I didn't spend much and I have to tweak it and definitely skip more things now. Luckily I haven't spent more than 7$ this season so far (CAD starter pack price approximately) and own everything in the passes section for now because of a festival pass purchase and crew sub during remix.
Yeah, exactly. Just dont buy the skins. Ive never felt any need to buy anything besides the battle pass and maybe something good in the shop like a skin or emote. Especially now, without rarities and every skin released is either shit, boring, generic, unoriginal or another fucking soulless collab. I havent wanted to buy a skin since ch2. I only get the battlepass nowadays cuz i get my vbucks back.
As a content creator what annoys me is all of the copyrighted emotes. I will never buy one because I am not having Epic place adverts on my videos for doing ten seconds of a copyrighted music emote! 😩👎
this is only talking about the stuff in game. everyone pays a decent amount of money on their setup too. making Fortnite harder to get into, and after buying a three to five-hundred dollar console they also want you to pay hundreds of dollars in vbucks
Wait you need to pay for a console or pc to play games? I thought everybody was given one for free? It's a company of course they want you to spend money I can't believe people don't understand this concept. Also the games free and everything you can buy is purely cosmetic meaning you don't need to. I don't know why you're acting like you're being forced to buy cosmetics.
@@ltisdabest21 all I was trying to say is that we don't like seeing all these overpriced cosmetics after buying a PC or console it's not that big of a deal
It should be noted that Epic very likely planned to tone down the xp cap in the new season to begin wtih, as it is a common tactic for companies(for videogames or otherwise) to introduce an outrageous new change to their product, only to quickly adjust it after backlash, to make it seem like they are listening to feedback.
i like that you've thought a lot about this and came to a super reasonable conclusion that this is in fact predatory, but man, why does everybody I see online now think that just because things are paywalled means to need to pay to enjoy the game. you enjoy the game if the game is fun, not because you can look cool while you play it
imma be real here ive been buying crew since season 2, even if theyre being a bit predatory at the moment it was still very worth even before. a free skin, 1000 vbucks and the battle pass was what it was before and that alone was very worth it to me. although i dont remember it not actually letting you own the battle pass even after it ended so that is pretty annoying
and yet people claim collab skins are a good thing and saved the game. there are so many amazing Original Survey Skins that are so much better and probably will cost less than collab skins
Exactly. Most collabs I don't care for at all. I'd rather see original stuff. The only collab skins I own are ones I was forced to have through battlepasses, and I never use them.
If they're Epic skins then they will not cost that much less. The guy points out less uncommon skins, but those were just mostly the same defualt wearing a slightly different outfit. Everybody agreeing with you doesn't seem to understand that it's not about them the majority of players like when their favorite ip collabs with Fortnite.
the 4 million XP cap isn't actually spread across ALL modes, it's just that LEGO, OG, and Reload share their 4 million cap. STW has their own cap, Creative has their own cap, etc.
It's an exploit. I'm in favor of it. It's like spamming refunds. People that do it don't care about the crew skins. I tried crew for 3 months and kind of regretted it. (Skins weren't that great. The skull recon one is pretty nice in lego though)
What he didn't talk about is how if you get the battle pass and finish it, you will have enough vbucks for the next so you don't have to pay 9 dollars every time a new battle pass comes
I agree completely. I am a collector, and I was stoked to see new cosmetics, I love customizing and mixing and matching. When I saw the prices, I had to decide not to collect kicks at this point, I just can not justify spending what I spend on a skin on a pair of shoes that are not needed on any skin to make it look better. I have not bought any kicks pair since they came out, if these prices stay I will wait for bundles. Personally I would start collecting if they cut kicks prices in half! 300 for their own sillly shoes, 500 for Nikes or other branded kicks, it’s still expensive, but I can see myself buying a few ones for those prices. I hope they see in sales that this is not gonna work….
@BC-Productions. im a grown man i barley have anytime to play games and when i do i like to play something i enjoy instead of doing missions to get something i used to get by just logging in
In all fairness, isn’t the game 100% free? The gameplay is exactly the same whether you buy stuff or don’t. Everything you purchase is purely cosmetic. It provides zero advantage. So, just don’t buy and you play for free! You’re welcome
I dont get the complaints about crew. Why not just reach level 100 then subscribe to crew? Then just cancel it after you have claimed the rewards as you do not have to level up anymore
You have to hit level 200 to complete it and it’s impossible to do that in one month and once you unsubscribe to the crew you can’t unlock anything unless you subscribe again so you have to pay 22 plus tax and to fully complete it instead of just paying 10. But you get rocket league stuff and all other passes and 2000 vbucks plus 1500 on the battle pass but it’s the fact that they force you to subscribe again which makes it terrible
@@Cryptic62637It is possible, just buy crew last month of the season... You can also buy battle pass 2 weeks before you buy crew and you get vbucks back for that

I bought the crew without realizing the fact that they changed the way it worked, previously bought it a few times and knew how it worked and now i had 15 days to take advantage of the crew "premium claim" on the battlepasses 😤
Item shop items are really expensive nowadays which is sad because for a moment in chapter two it seemed like they were making an effort to make cosmetics more affordable. I will say though I’ve been a fortnite crew subsrriber since day 1 and I love how much value they have added to it. I’m so glad I get access to every pass now and even the rocket pass that’s so much more than I even signed up for. But if they ever start taking that stuff away I’m not gonna be happy lol
I spent about 20 bucks on the game since the game came out.. I have about 120 skins that I don't use and most of it was from the battle pass. On top of that I got a couple skins from the item shop and still have 2,400 vbucks.😂 This is why they're changing things. If you save your battle pass vbucks. You can get more free skins.
About the crew, honestly its surprising they waited this long to make it like this, people were getting 2 battlepasses, 2 skins, and around 4k v-bucks (1k from crew and 3k from two battlepasses), the xp thing is a problem tho

The change of 50 V-Bucks for the battle bass going from 950 to 1,000 is really annoying. I know it’s only 50 V-Bucks, but it’s just annoying and there was no reason to do it. 950 was fine.
There was a reason to do it, and it's not a good reason
Good point, well made. And the reason is unfortunately obvious.
I'm going in blind and saying it's cus of the fear of the recent tariffs they are upping the prices like every other company just to prepare for those hits in revenue...
I love it because it's finally rounded😂😂 y was it even 9 50 in the first place it's a weird number

You don't need crew for the secret skins tho
@GrootBe8r you aren’t getting it..
damn... wish i knew that before i bought it for the first time at the beginning of this season

The XP change is the only thing pissing me off, I was barely able to reach level 200 beforehand since I got a job. Now I’d be lucky to even reach level 150 for all the rewards besides the ugly alt skins for the battlepass skins lol
How would I be spending more in the long run ? If you bought individual passes every season then you would be wasting your money in the long run , regardless it’s a subscription service and if you wanna cancel it you can , people don’t end subscription services to keep using the service for months on end- they get the subscription & delete the service when they done with it and use up the last remaining amount and move on
i would just buy fortnite crew once i have enough xp so you can claim all items and then just cancel
Im doing that too but i have a gut feeling Epic is going to remove this loophole next season
@@capn_l couldnt imagine how they would do that without ruining something ...

The way the crew works now isn't too bad, because you could just level up and then buy it like I did.

They literally inflated the battlepass by 50 vbucks this season
Just remember that unlike real products there is 0 production cost, infinite supply,no transport costs and very little labour going into producing these goods. Fortnite sets the prices to whatever they feel like and they can get away with it because unlike real life there is no competitor to buy the skins from (they own 100% of the market)
how is there no production cost? The CEO makes the skins? Developers and artists gotta make a living . Of course there's production cost. Also there's server costs, a free game still has to pay server costs, if not constant ads like mobile games, then its cosmetics. Especially now, without rarities and every skin released is either shit, boring, generic, unoriginal or another fucking soulless collab. I havent wanted to buy a skin since ch2. I only get the battlepass nowadays cuz i get my vbucks back.
Real
Exactly I have never spent a penny on this game and I don't plan to. I have skins and tons of emotes no regrets.
I know, the battle pass is and always will be the best deal
ueah thats why i only buy emotes now cheap and i can always use them and stuff
You dont have to get super expensive pc or a 500 dollar console
You can get for way cheaper
@@Emi14-i1x that's why I said three to five-hundred
5:59 do you know what else is massive?
LOOOOOWW TAPER FAAAADEEEEE
Looooooooowwwwwwwwwwww
@Brexitshadythe low taper fade meme is still massive
LOEWWWWWWWWWWWW TAY-PERRRRRRRRRRR FAYDDDDDDDDDDDDEEEEEE
GokusForeskin is massive
The crew is literally 11 dollars and gets you every pass. I could care less about cars and shoes and instruments
I have bought only two pairs of shoes, only FN original cosmetics. Hopefully Epic realizes that nobody is willing to pay 1,000 for 1 pair of shoes.
$10 for in-game shoes is crazy. You could buy an entire meal with that money.
For the price of 2 shoes in fortnight you could get a whole ass vr game let that sink in
@@Benshzz I got those vbucks from Fortnite Crew and the Battle Pass. I didn’t go out of my way to buy vbucks for the shoes.
The part with shoes I will never buy kicks because I got my fav Jordan’s in the battle pass
and yet people claim collab skins are a good thing and saved the game.
there are so many amazing Original Survey Skins that are so much better and probably will cost less than collab skins
Exactly. Most collabs I don't care for at all. I'd rather see original stuff. The only collab skins I own are ones I was forced to have through battlepasses, and I never use them.
@@georgiag1902agree, much prefer the original skins, but sadly its like fortnight is turning into a cosplay atp
Right. I use female ninja skin exclusively like, Lady Of Cranes, Mizuki, Kuno etc.. I think collab skins are very overrated
FR
If they're Epic skins then they will not cost that much less. The guy points out less uncommon skins, but those were just mostly the same defualt wearing a slightly different outfit. Everybody agreeing with you doesn't seem to understand that it's not about them the majority of players like when their favorite ip collabs with Fortnite.
the 4 million XP cap isn't actually spread across ALL modes, it's just that LEGO, OG, and Reload share their 4 million cap. STW has their own cap, Creative has their own cap, etc.
1:50 yea don't they should cost as much as a real set
Don't think
I never spent a cent on Fortnite not even a v-bucks
Why WOULD canceling crew allow you to keep/continue redeeming THREE battlepasses? It doesn't make financial sense.
It's an exploit. I'm in favor of it. It's like spamming refunds. People that do it don't care about the crew skins. I tried crew for 3 months and kind of regretted it. (Skins weren't that great. The skull recon one is pretty nice in lego though)
The thing is that you can complete all of the bonus passes for less than 50 lvls
Great video I agree a lot w this.Remix was a massive cashgrab along w all those collabs
Who even bought the collabs lol? I only saw one ice spice skin and 0 of anybody else while playing religiously
massive huh?
What he didn't talk about is how if you get the battle pass and finish it, you will have enough vbucks for the next so you don't have to pay 9 dollars every time a new battle pass comes
You also get 1000 v bucks every month with the crew pass. Worth it to me.
Ever since they removed the rarity of most skins, skin pricing have increased to blind people from the rarity vs price ratio
Massive?
Low taper fade
I stopped paying the game the moment they removed daily rewards from STW
Daily quests do the same thing and they are super easy.
@BC-Productions.less vbucks still
@BC-Productions. im a grown man i barley have anytime to play games and when i do i like to play something i enjoy instead of doing missions to get something i used to get by just logging in
I think it’s actually worth the 12 it saves you from buying all the different passes and gives you v-bucks. More worth it than it was before
11:50 It’s always been $12 btw, well $11.99
Are you kidding me, I got a Fortnite ad when the video ended, what irony.
In all fairness, isn’t the game 100% free? The gameplay is exactly the same whether you buy stuff or don’t. Everything you purchase is purely cosmetic. It provides zero advantage.
So, just don’t buy and you play for free!
You’re welcome
On surface, yes, but default skin players or free skins ones gets way more targetted than others, so it becomes harder.
@@NSK_2015 they genuinely do not, anyone who doesn't have that minimal level of self control deserves to be rinsed of money
I remember back when the raptor female bundle came out, I did the math and it was actually cheaper to buy each seperate item rather than the bundle
You can also buy battle pass 2 weeks before you buy crew and you get vbucks back for that
@@Cryptic62637 you can get to 200 and at the end of season buy the crew and claim it
@@Cryptic62637 Or you could just wait until level 200
@@Smuglicense9359 exactly
I think I’m just gonna keep buying the battlepass by itself, haven’t spent a dime on the game since season 5, stw vbucks go crazy
Y'all are forgetting that Fortnite is free to play.
Real
This video is fantastic keep making videos dude
3 take is bullshit. This season is the easiest to level up in the battle pases
Fortnite players need to seriously get on apex legends and see what expensive really is. You guys have it good in Fortnite . Not only that but Fortnite does a lot of give aways and prizes that are achieved in game and more.
